Cameron took it with a grin to Adéle. “Thanks!” He turned to Lilah. “Let us go up, then.”
Cameron took it with a grin to Adéle. “Thanks!” He turned to Lilah. “Let us go up, then.”
“I’m excited. Could you tell that I’m excited?” Lilah giggled as they stepped into the elevator.
Cameron laughed and grabbed her hand gently. “Yes. Could you tell I’m excited?”
(Sorry, I had to do some Spanish.)
“Hm… I dunno…” Lilah teased with a grin. She reached over to peck his cheek. “Of course I could. You were about as subtle as I was.”
(That’s okay.)
Cameron giggled softly and kissed her cheek back. “Wonderful. Just making sure.”
“What floor are we on, again?” Lilah asked, glancing down at her card.
“Uuuh… floor three.” He grinned down at her, happy he finally remembered something.
(I had an idea for a limited RP and I kinda want you to join… Any chance you’d want to hear the idea?)
Lilah glanced up at him and returned the grin with one of her own. “Great! Looks like we’re almost there, too.”
(Sure, toss it at me!)
Cameron nodded and looked around. “Weird elevator.” It was the elevator that most hotels in America use.
(Cool! I’ll put it at the bottom.)
“Is it?” Lilah wondered as she looked around. She shrugged and turned back to Cameron. “Seems normal to me.”
(They had been friends forever, since before they could ever remember. They finally started dating in their junior year of high school. He was her rock, her solid ground in time of need. She was his soft and sweet, perfection in every way.
So what happens when someone new comes into their lives? Someone who shakes their relationship and makes them think about it? Someone who, possibly, causes her to fall for him?)
Cameron shrugged too. “Dunno. It’s just… weird.”
(I dunno. I don’t do very well in relationships that are threatened if that makes sense. I like to have solid-ground in relationships without another in the way. It just tickles my writer’s fancy. How does it end? Which role did you want me to play?)
Lilah glanced around again and gave another shrug. “Okay.”
The elevator dinged, causing her to jump, and she laughed at herself a bit.
(I get that. I figured that we would just see where it ended up. You would be able to pick your role — though I made a new character for the new guy, just in case.)
Cameron laughed gently with her and kissed her head. “C’mon, Scaredy, let’s find our room.”
(Imean, if you really want me to join, I can join as the girl.)
(I’ve got to go for the night… sigh
And it’s honestly up to you. Otherwise, I’ll just put it up and see who joins. I might ask Carrots.)
“It surprised me!” Lilah defended herself, though she was grinning as she walked out.
(Night. Dunno, I might join. I’m just not interested in the type of thing. But the next RP you want me to join, I’ll be there!)
Cameron laughed softly again, kissing her head. “Mhm. It surprised you.”
(I have a few more minutes, it seems…)
"It did…" Lilah huffed as she glanced down at her card and checked their room number once more before she turned and walked left.
(Oh,)
Cameron squeezed her hand. “I’m just kidding!”
(But just a few. My stepdad will turn the wifi off soon.)
"Yeah, yeah… I know," Lilah sighed. She glanced at the room numbers and stopped in front of the one that matches the number on the card. "Found it!"
(Ohhh okay.)
Cameron glanced at the door and grinned. “Okay, let’s open her up!”
Lilah laughed lightly and slid the card into the slot. The red light turned green, and the lock popped. Lilah turned the handle and opened the door, stepping into the room.
“Oh, wow…”
Cameron peered in over her head. “Erm… yeah, we’re in the hallway.” He giggled.
“Come inside, goofball,” Lilah laughed, grabbing his hand and tugging him in after her.
Cameron bobbed into the room. It was big and elaborate with two beds, a kitchen, and a little sitting room area.
“Huh. So it was worth booking here.”
“We probably won’t need both beds, though,” Lilah said with a shrug as she looked around. She glanced in the bathroom and grinned. “Hey! There’s a whirlpool thing in here!”
Cameron poked his head into the bathroom after her. “Oooh! Nice.”
"That would be nice to relax in. Oooh, we could have a big bubble bath!" Lilah laughed.
Cameron laughed too. “Actually, that’s not a bad idea.”
Lilah stepped farther in and looked around some more, her eyes eventually landing on a bottle of soap. She picked it up and opened the top to smell it, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath in. "Mm… Vanilla…"
Cameron set down their toiletries and grinned. “Instead of taking a look at the whirlpool, you’re gonna inhale some lotion.”
"No, it's bubble bath soap! Here, smell it!" Lilah said as she held it out to him.
