Sebastian motioned to the empty seat at James's table. "Mind if I sit here?"

"Go ahead." He says cheerfully, a bright smile on his lips.

He sat, carefully sipping at his sweet mocha. "Are you from around here?"

"Yeah. It's actually a short walk to my apartment." He chuckles and sips his coffee.

"Oh cool. What's it like, working for the government?"

"Difficult since I have to keep my mouth shut half the time." He laughs lightly. "I do a lot of computer work though."

Sebastian laughed as well, self-consciously reaching a hand up to ruffle his curly hair. "I'm completely useless with computers, I probably couldn't pull off your job."

He looks around before whispering. "Don't tell anyone but I hack for a living." He chuckles before pulling back.

Sebastian's eyebrows shot up disbelievingly. "What?"

James nods. "Pretty cool right?" He chuckles.

Sebastian nodded incredulously. “Wow.”

James chuckles and leans back. He was at major ease at the moment. He yawns softly. "ngh. It's been a long night. I'll tell you that."

Sebastian smiled softly. "How long have you been in here for?"

"Mmm… Six and a half hours." He chuckles, rubbing the back of his head.

“Wow you just be wiped.” Sebastian scratched at the name of his neck absentmindedly, giving the other boy a quick once-over.

James chuckles. "I'm exhausted. But. I'm not finished with this current thing I have to do. I'm almost done, just have to work out tweaks. But I should be home free in a few hours."

Sebastian let out a low whistle. "Wow. Good luck with that."

Sorry. I'm brain dead. I just finished my first day at my new school/

James laughs softly. "It's not too bad." He hums as he sips his coffee.

Sebastian took another sip of his mocha, the warmth of the drink bringing a little more colour to his cheeks.

A nightmare. The school is HUGE//

James smiles faintly. "How's your drink?"

"It's good, thanks for paying.", he replied, smiling up at the other boy.

James chuckles and waves his hand. "No problemo. Say… Mind hanging out with me again? I'm kinda lonely, since I'm holed up in my house all the time. It'd be nice to have a friend."

The tips of Sebastian's ears coloured ever so slightly, but he shook out his blond curls to cover them. "Yeah– sure. Uh–" He pulled his phone from his pocket. "What's your number?"

James grins and giggles. "Great." He gives his number before stretching and looking at the other with happiness.

Sebastian glanced down at his phone, entering James as a content and swallowing a lump of anxiety. I'm hanging out tomorrow with a cute guy who just bought me coffee. Oh my god. "So, what– what are we planning on doing tomorrow?"

James hums in thought. "All depends on what you want to do." He replies happily. "I'm up for anything."

"Erm…" Sebastian tried to think. "We could get ice cream? There's an amusement park that just opened up? Uh… museum?"
