“I’m not sleepy, though,” Lilah slurred, clearly lying.
“I’m not sleepy, though,” Lilah slurred, clearly lying.
Cameron laughed again, rubbing her back. “Get some sleep. We can cuddle when you wake up.”
“Don’t wanna wake up,” Lilah mumbled as her breathing deepened.
“Well you’ve got to wake up,” Cameron murmured softly, kissing her.
“Five more minutes…” Lilah said quietly, half asleep at this point.
Cameron nodded. “Five more minutes.”
Lilah relaxed completely as she fell asleep. Maybe she should just sleep the rest of the day… No, no. She wanted to spend more time with Cameron.
Cameron rubbed the side of her face with a gentle thumb. She was so precious. He wanted to love and cherish her forever.
Lilah made a small sound in her sleep, but she wasn’t unhappy. In fact, she was very happy. Blissfully so, almost.
Cameron kissed her nose gently and relaxed. His thumbs still rubbed circles into her jaw and hips, as he waited to doze off.
Lilah moved into his touch. He was a comfort even in her sleep.
Cameron smiled like a dork, yawning again. The train would have a few days yet until they get off for Paris. But it wouldn't be bad. Not at all.
(Skip?)
(Sure. To when they wake up or later?)
(Hmmm after the train ride?)
(Sure, sonwhen they’re getting on the plane for Paris? Or we could do their arrival in Paris.
Also, I got to go. Night!)
(Niight!
We could do their arrival?)
(Sounds good!
I can start in the morning unless you want to now.)
(Eh we can start it tomorrow, since I have nothing better to do on Sundays)
(Lol. Well, I’ve got church later, so I won’t be on for a few hours.)
“Finally! I can’t believe we’re in Paris!” Lilah laughed excitedly as they grabbed their suitcases.
(Oof have fun at Chuuuuurrrrrrrrch i’m an atheist)
Cameron lugged the heavier bags out of the trunk of the car and turned around. His expression was one of someone not realizing they were in Paris. He looked absolutely taken aback.
“So we are!”
(Lol. Thanks. I like it here, so that’s all that matters, I guess.)
“This is so exciting,” Lilah declared as she looked around. “Where’s our hotel?”
(Yeah. I guess that’s what matters ^-^)
Cameron shut the trunk and looked around, grinning. The bustling streets of Paris were beautiful. With the waving flowers at porchside and little French kids running around, screeching in their native language.
“It’s… it’s somewhere…”
Lilah turned to look at him questioningly. “You don’t know where our hotel is?”
“Huh?!” Cameron snapped out, turning to look at her, blinking as if the sun was directly in his eyes.
“Oh, yeah, I know where it is.”
“We should probably find it,” Lilah chuckled. “Which way?”
Cameron straight faced and looked around. “Errm… maybe to the left?”
“You have no idea where we are, do you?” Lilah sighed, shaking her head. “Why don’t we ask someone for directions?”
Cameron turned a faint shade of red. “I did know, I promise. Let’s just look it up on a GPS or our phones.”
“Okay, that works, too. What’s the name of the hotel again?” Lilah asked as she pulled her phone out and opened the gps app.
“Uuuuhhhh some French name I can’t remember.” Cameron smiled sheepishly.
