(Lol. XD)
Lilah shook herself out and finished her pizza before grabbing another slice. “Yeah. But I really do like the peace and quiet without them.”

Lilah shook herself out and finished her pizza before grabbing another slice. “Yeah. But I really do like the peace and quiet without them.”
(I know xD)
Cameron glanced down at her, leaning off when she shook herself out. “Right. It’s lonely, but nice.”
“It’s only a little lonely, though. We’ve got each other to keep us company,” Lilah said, glancing over at him with a small smile.
She’s going to be fine. She’s just a little old, not on her deathbed.
Cameron smiled back and kissed her nose gently. “Right. We have each other. Always.”
“Always,” Lilah agreed, letting out a breath. She closed her eyes for a moment before she reopened them and grinned at Cameron, then finished her slice of pizza.
Cameron went back to knawing on his crust, noticed her smiling at him and smiled back.
“Hm… I’m full…” Lilah hummed contentedly after finishing her pizza.
Cameron hummed in agreement and finished off his crust. “You were certainly hungry, dear.”
“I can eat a lot when I want to,” Lilah chuckled, smiling over at him.
Cameron laughed softly and leaned into her. “I believe you, babe. I witnessed it.”
“As you have in the past and will in the future,” Lilah declared with a light laugh.
Cameron laughed with her, leaning his head into her neck. “I know I will. I’ll be amazed every time.”
“Hm… Should we pack the rest of it away, then?” Lilah asked, humming happily.
“By pack you mean eat?” Cameron grinned dorkily.
“No… No more food… If I eat any more, I’m going to explode,” Lilah groaned.
Cameron laughed and picked up the last few slices. “I can finish it off.”
“Hm, you do that. I’m gonna take a nap,” Lilah murmured, snuggling down into the blankets.
Cameron laid down with her, nibbling carefully on the pizza. “Okay, dear.”
“Don’t get crumbs in the bed,” Lilah said, closing her eyes loosely.
Cameron hugged her close with a faint hum. “I’ll try not to…”
Lilah evened out her breathing but didn’t fall asleep. She couldn’t yet, it was too early for her.
Cameron continued happily crunching the pizza, whittling them down until he finished them. He snuggled into her, tucking his head into her neck.
“Can’t sleep,” Lilah mumbled, curling around him.
Cameron hummed softly, curling his arms around her. “We’ll fall asleep eventually…”
“Snuggles first…” Lilah murmured.
Cameron nodded and yawned. “Snuggles first.”
Lilah hummed and snuggled closer to him. “Love you…”
Cameron curled around her. “Love you too.”
“Why’re we going to sleep before supper?” Lilah asked, half asleep.
Cameron laughed gently. “We can wake up for a late supper.”
