Scarlet stopped. “Wait, say that again. The King? I thought he was dead??”

Virgil is so tired that he isn't even taking anything in anymore. "I'm not even suprised anymore."

"Which one?" Nykidia asked. "Clubs is still alive but I'm not sure about Spades. I haven't seen him in a while." Nykidia said stepping inside Teresa's house.

Scarlet followed cautiously, retrieving her knife from where it had fallen, wincing in pain when the gash in her arm stretched. “What about Diamonds? Both the King and Queen of Hearts were publicly executed, what about the other Queens?”

Name: Chelsea Cheshire

Appearance: A mischievous smirk, pale skin, sparkling teal eyes, …soft plum colored hair that is curled in loose ringlets, 5’8”.
Personality: Chelsea is mischievous, like her guardian, but to a certain extent. She would tease you, but she would know when to stop. She wants to be liked and likes to please other people. She finds contradiction and paradoxes amusing and she really likes them. She’s a very cheerful and bubbly person. However, when threatened or pissed off, her grin will grow from a friendly smile to a terrifying smirk and start to become overall terrifying. She tries to make decisions based on facts but ends up make decisions on feelings. Chelsea is not the best fighter but she’s stealthy and surprisingly resourceful.

"Phoebe over here is the child of the queen of diamonds." Nykidia said pointing to Phoebe. "Teresa is the daughter of the King of Clubs." She said pointing at Teresa. "Just met Cade so I don't know much about him and I'm the daughter of the greatest nuisance to your mother." Nykidia said with a smile.

"Is everyone here royalty?" Cade asked out loud, starting to regret his decision of getting on the good side of these people.

"Nope!" Nykidia said. "Night and I arn't" Nykidia said. Night nodded in agreement.

That makes this a little more bearable. Cade thought to himself.

Scarlet blinked, the shock evident on her face. "Oh. But are they– are they still alive?" After a brief moment what Nykidia had said clicked. "You're the daughter of the Mad Hatter?"

Teresa walked back out “dad said that it’s fine as long as we don’t murder anyone’s in his house.” She stated matter of factly

Scarlet licked her lips anxiously. "Why would I do that?"

"Yep!" Nykidia getting super close to Scarlets face. "Got any opinions you want to share on him? And yes we are all alive. Why?"

Scarlet took a step back. "The monarchs of Diamonds, Hearts, and Spades disappeared seventeen years ago and no one knows where they went. It's not exactly a crime to be curious.", she snapped.

"I'm not snapping at you so please don't snap at me sweetheart." Nykidia said. "The reason the monarchs and nuisance's of Alice disappeared is that they had been trying to keep there children safe." Night said looking at Nykidia, Teresa, and Phoebe.

Scarlet glowered. "Thanks for the explanation. And don't call me sweetheart, I don't even know your name."

Nykidia stuck out her hand. "Nykidia! Pleasure to meet you sweetheart." Nykidia said with a teasing nature.

Scarlet shook her hand, still tense. "Don't call me sweetheart."
