Miki began to cry suddenly. “I always mess up everything… no wonder no one likes me… Milo only pity’s me… no one cares about me… I should just leave the pack and die…”

Theresa smiled "It was awesome, I have a ton of cool stories to tell if you guys want to hear that is?" she watched the pups sit at her feet and sighed happily, she had forgotten how nice it was to be with other wolves.

"Like what?" A smaller pup, Kia, piped. She looked up at Theresa with wide eyes as her brother cuddled up close beside her. All of the pups waited, eager for a story.

Theresa smiled "Well, do you want to hear about fighting a bear, or almost taking down a moose on my own?" she looked around at the pups and watched them get ready to hear a story.

They erupted in shows and commands. "Moose! Moose!" "Bear please! Bear!" They all called and showed, eager to hear both stories. Daran looked at her. "We can listen to both right? Bear first please!"

Theresa laughed happily "Yes, I can tell them both… hmmmm….where should I start with the bear story…." she thought for a minute and then smiled "oh, I got it….alright, so I was very hungry, almost starved to death, and I was out hunting, trying to find any animal for food. I finally had found a deer and was about to attack, I quickly sprang up from the bushes and killed the deer, ready to eat when all of the sudden a bear came lumbering through the same bushes I had just been in." she paused and looked around at the pups, watching their reactions so far.

Miki looked around, seeing if she spotted anyone. She thought she didn’t see anyone, so she started to head back to the pack, following the scent of John and Milo to find the pack. When she thought she was close, she tripped on a pebble. “Gah!” She once again faceplanted on the ground.

Miki got back up on her legs, struggling to stay up. She fell back down. “Ow! It hurts so bad!” She looked down, her legs were all messed up. She saw some bone sticking out. “Oh no…” she screamed. “SOMEONE HELP ME!” She began to panic immediately, sweat rolled down her face.

gray heard the wails. He sprinted to the entrance of his den and almost knocked into eve. "Hi yes sorry we'll talk later, come with me, I need you," he said with more meaning than what she thought. Gray sprinted to where he heard miki yelling, fully wild, none of the human left in his eyes. He found her in a ditch, her leg twisted " Get water from the nearest stream, and any roots you can find that'll help this" he ordered Eve. He crouched down towards Miki and spoke in her ear " I need you to change back into your human form, ok?" although he was wild, he still retained the kindness in his voice. " I'm going to try to carry you back to the camp, if not, i'll carry you to the stream, eve's there and we'll help you, ok? I'm going to move you, tell me if anything hurts."

Miki held her necklace, and she transformed into her human form. “I’m so clumsy… I tripped on a pebble and fell into the ditch…”

Eve felt that everything today was off kilter. So many things happening in such a short amount of time. She rushed off with Grayson and soon found herself at the stream. If what she saw was out of place bones, there were no roots to help Miki. What she need what her bone set back in place and then casted. Eve looked about for vines and sturdy branches that were straight.

Miki held her leg, fighting back the untouchable pain. Spikes of pain went through her leg. She began to cry, she couldn’t stop, the pain was to strong.

"I'm going to pick you up ok, this might hurt so try not to move" Gray nuzzled his nose under Miki and lifter her into his back, he felt the warmth of the hurt leg and knew there was no time to get back to camp, he headed for the nearest stream where he saw eve go " hold on to my fur."

Miki held on tight, as they arrived at the stream, Milo sprinted to their location.
Milo screamed. “What happened to my sister Gray!”

Gray kept going, " she was hunting I'm guessing, tripped and sprained her ankle, were heading to eve and the stream, it's too far to take her to the pack, I'm not going to risk it getting infected." Gray said over the wind, "Samia is on another trip with the other healers from the northern pack, so we'll have to make do with what we've got" Gray kept over a fallen tree and headed west toward the stream " hold on Miki we're almost there."

“I was one of the healers until I became a Delta, maybe I can help you!” Milo looked around for berries to treat the blood and treat the infection if any.

Miki looked up, “I was with Arin, he was taking me hunting to make me feel better… I lost him that’s when I spotted a male deer…. I tried hunting it but I tripped on a root so I tried going back. I tripped on a pebble then stumbled into a ditch…”

"we'll find him once we get you safe and with Eve. Your brother and eve will help you heal, while I find Arin. " He found eve and placed Miki down next to her "try not to move k?" He licked her ear, and looked at eve and went back to find Arin.

Eve watched them approached. Once they set her down, she located the bone and looked at Milo and Grayson. "I'm gonna need you to hold down. We can't have her moving." she ordered.

Gray nodded and held miki's head, "you'll be ok," he hated anythung surgical or medical or anything close to a broken bone.

Eve took a breath, took the out of place section, and popped it back into place. She moved quickly, bracing it with the sticks and vines. "You cannot, turn back into your wolf form until this is healed, understand Miki?"

Miki nodded “Of course.” Milo hurried back with some berries. “Wait! We need to make sure she isn’t infected Eve.”

"Yes!" Eve couldn't believe she had forgotten. "Come and apply that to the open skin before I wrap this." She beckoned Milo forward. "Be gentle…"

Milo gently rubbed the berries on Miki’s open skin. “Okay sis, the berries will burn a little, there was dirt in your blood… it’s going to get it out okay?”
Miki smiles. “Thank you guys! I don’t know what I would have done without your help!”

"Ita okay. Just… Take it very very slow for now on. And remember, no shifting at all. Not for any reason. Once Saskia gets back and checks on you, she can give you different directions to follow." Eve instructed.
