Cameron handed her the booklet. “I didn’t expect a lot for a train game.”
Cameron handed her the booklet. “I didn’t expect a lot for a train game.”
Lilah glanced over the instructions and sighed. “Okay, it looks like most of it’s just setting up the 4D part of it. But who in our generation doesn’t know how to do that?” she chuckled. “Otherwise, it’s pretty simple.”
Cameron exhaled softly and pulled out the game. “Right. Right.”
(Skip?)
(Sure!)
“So… that was more confusing than I thought it would be,” Lilah admitted when they’d finished the game.
Cameron had somehow won in the end. He really liked trains.
“Yeah… it was… different.”
“Definitely. Now… Should we get lunch maybe?” Lilah suggested.
Cameron grinned and nodded. “Please! I’m starving.”
“They’ve got pizza, right?” Lilah asked, looking for the menu. “Should we get that?”
Cameron “ooh”ed softly. “Sure we can!”
“Cheese or something else?” Lilah asked as she grabbed the phone.
“Hmmm… pepperoni.” Cameron nodded.
“Would you mind sausage, too?” Lilah asked as she dialed the number.
Cameron puckered his lips. “I guess not.”
“It doesn’t have to be on the whole pizza. I can just get it in half if you don’t want to eat it,” Lilah suggested, glancing over at him.
Cameron grinned brightly. “I don’t care.”
Lilah smiled and pecked his lips quick. She hummed a quick, “M’kay…” before someone picked up the phone and she ordered their food.
Cameron stretched out slowly with a silent yawn. He held the pose for a few moments before relaxing with a low hum.
When she finished, Lilah hung up the phone and smiled over at Cameron. “It’ll be here soon. Cuddle while we wait?”
Cameron yawned again and grinned sleepily. “Sure. Sounds great.”
“Just don’t fall asleep,” Lilah chuckled, cuddling into him.
Cameron gave a low hum. “I’ll try not to.”
“I think we may have a sleeping problem. I think we do that whenever we’re bored,” Lilah mused, moving her face to nuzzle his neck.
Cameron laughed a bit, his voice rumbling in his throat. “At least we’re not eating when we’re bored.”
“True, true,” Lilah agreed with a light laugh, kissing his cheek near his jaw.
Cameron smiled and returned a kiss to her cheek. “We could play Trains again.”
Lilah grunted. “No. Please no.”
Cameron chuckled and leaned his chin on her head. “Okay…. we could sleep?”
“No sleeping either,” Lilah chuckled, kissing his jaw again.
