(So I'm trying to make my character {sorry its taking so long} and I'm wondering if you have any examples of types of magic. I dont wanna make my character op)

(i'm sorry, i should have been more specific. by species, i mean like "elves, merfolk, emberites." fae is a general blanket term for them - like how LGBT+ is a blanket term for gay, bi, and trans people.
but otherwise, i love your form!)

Appearance: Medium-dark skin, vibrant blue eyes, thin and muscular. 5'8. Short, dark, curly hair
Magic specialty (if human): Water, mild illusion
Personality: Can be really stern sometimes and tries to be but ultimately cares for people a lot, cool and calm under pressure, good at staying organized, not great at relaxing, not a lot of chill
Background: Childhood friends with the captain, who is very anti-fae and cruel towards fae. The original first mate was killed by the sphinx, and the captain knew Leona was good with ships and organization so they asked Leona to be the new first mate. Captain doesn't know Leona saved a faerie's life and then gave Leona his/her weapon.
Weapon/artifact you use: Twin swords and four shurikens, gifted by the faeire, that will never miss their true, intended mark and always return back to the owner's hand when summoned. Leona is the current owner.
Other: Likes climbing stuff, doesn't like rude people but acts rude sometimes for survival

Leo has the kinda the same owners as lovino but lovino has illusions and lighting but strong!)

(nice form! i think a good compromise between the two of you would maybe have leona/leo ask for help with illusions sometimes or have her illusion magic be not as strong. what do you think?)

Aisha absentmindedly fingered the rune at the back of her neck, letting her fingers glide over the raised markings. I would gouge them all off if I could. Her chipped nails dug into the mark sharply, drawing blood.
"Aisha, are you done with the Hand of Glory yet?" a voice called from the back of the inventory.
She smirked. "Of course. You really thought that I couldn't handle a couple of curses?"

(they wouldn't exactly be called 'water elves,' but you could try 'naiads,' 'sirens,' 'selkies,' 'merfolk,' and more. Crystal Guardians could be fae that live underground, or something like that.
and from what i've determined from fae so far, the faeries would call these species the "crystal guardians," while the humans would portray them in a negative light and call them evil)

Janus rubbed his face. He was sitting at a long, empty table that was in his main room. Lonely, the way he liked it. When his team swept through, it got messy, loud and just flat annoying. Janus slammed his huge hands into the table, the noise sweeping through the empty hall. Awesome.

"You'd better be," Aisha said in a deadpan voice so that it was impossible to tell whether she was joking or not. She pulled out a handkerchief, wiping all traces of oil off of her hands. She continued to do so even when her hands were fully clean. "If I was still wresting with the Hands, I'd probably have mine chopped off by now and magically added to the candelabra."

Lovino blinked “um ok and do you wanna have lunch it’s your brake now,” he says jabbing his thumb towards the door. “I just ate so it’s ok if you do.”

Aisha stood up from her crosslegged position on the floor in one fluid motion. "Glad to know that I need your permission to do something that I need to do to survive, Your Majesty," she said, giving a mocking bow.

“I was just telling you geez,” he says picking up oil and holding him.
