"Well, you have us!" Mihala said, in a comforting tone.

She smiled and turned her head to him. She nodded and unbuckled. "Yeah."

Ryker nodded and unbuckled his seatbelt. He opened his car door and got out, hoping the traffic wouldn't start moving again. He moved to the other side.

"Well, hate to break it to yall' but there's a car following us, and they aren't here to hitchhike. More to…. kill, see, Minotar, and sphinx." Teri said from the back.

She crawled over the consol and settled in the driver's seat. She settled in and buckled up, repositioning the seat and the mirrors.

Ryker got in on the other side when he saw Phoebe had moved over and closed the door. "Alright, let's get going again,"

She put the car in drive and eased forward as traffic moved along. "Get some sleep. It'll be awhile before we get to Montreal. If something happens I'll wake you."

(Hehe, Japanese fire drill.)

"Gladly," Ryker yawned. He leaned the seat back and fell asleep almost immediately.

(Its were everyone gets out if the car and runs around it one time, then you have to find another spot.)

Phoebe smiled. With some threatening and a little bit of charmspeak, she was able to get then across the American border into Canada. She let out a breath if relief. "Anyone hungry or do you want to wait to get food?"

(Hehe, Japanese fire drill.)

Ryker grumbled, but he sat up and got out of the car. He looked up at the hotel. "Not too bad," he muttered.

Phoebe parked in front of her father's hotel by nightfall. She unbuckled and leaned across to kiss Ryker's cheek. "We're here." She said as she leaned back and got out.

Elizabeth got her backpack and exited the vehicle.

"FOOD!" Teri yelled, a strange look in her eye, sly and yet hopeful, Teri needed food.

She chuckled and got out. She grabbed her bag and locked the van once everyone was out. "You can go back to bed after you shower hot shot."

"Yeah, whatever," Ryker grumbled. He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked towards the building.

"Let's each bunk with those of the same gender. Teenage horomones." Teri said.

"No. Two rooms. Two to each bed. The closer we are together the better." She said as she walked in and went right up to the front desk.

“Pfft.”

"Same suite, different rooms, m'kay?"
