Grayson hated that he was jelous of milo, they were best friends, he shouldn't be, he decided to go back to the lake to clear his head

“He worked so hard on it… it was a special necklace… but I broke to jewel on it… not to mention we found another jewel. But I tired to give it to Sasika, so I can’t fix it…” Miki stopped crying, “and thank you Eve, you’re so nice and kind…”

Eve turned and watched Grayson go. She had hoped to get to share a word with, a conversation and a nice meal… Welp, maybe some other time…

“Eve? Is something wrong?” Miki said concerned.

"Don't worry about it!" Eve flashed a bright smile a Miki. "Let's go see him right now. I gotta get back before the pups wake up, I owe them a story." She took Miki's hand, "Lead the way."

“Okay!” Miki got up and started to walk out of the den, shes so lucky… she’s nice, kind, and a favorite of Milo and Alpha… maybe she likes the Alpha? Miki was lost in her thoughts, humming as she happily went over to the den. She knocked on the wall with her paw. “Milo! I’m home!”
Milo came out, happy as can be. “Did you give her the present?”
Miki sighed. “About that….”

Gray came back from the lake late into the night, he loved nights, especially clear ones, he checked in with her sister, seeing her peacefully asleep. He checked in with the pups, also sound asleep. He headed for the cliff near his den where he could over see the pack from above. He would never get in the way of his two most beloved friends, so, if he had to watch from afar as his love loved another, then so be it. He let out a low howl, a prayer to the moon for a clear night and a peaceful winter.

Milo got a bit red in the face, “did she not like it?”
Miki sighed, her ears dropped. “I broke it…”
Milo looked a bit concerned. “Don’t get your hopes down sis, it’s fine! Everyone is clumsy sometimes.” He noticed Eve standing there, his face got a bit red.

Eve smiled and waved to Milo. "Hello." she greeted him. She couldn't help but smile. Milo was a nice male. "I came as tribute for poor Miki."

Milo rubbed his head against Miki’s, “sis I told you, I’m not the same person I was. I love you, you’re my sister.”
Miki smiled, “Milo… the other Gammas picked on me again…”
Milo’s happiness broke, “What? What did they do? Did they hurt you?
Miki sat down. “They told me lies, I was looking for Eve and they told me she wasn’t in the place she was at… I don’t think they like me…”

Grayson had enough of this, he went down into the heart of the pack where he usually made his announcements and howled loudly and snarled at the end, letting everyone know this was important.

"I'm sure some corrections can be made to make sure Miki-" Eve stopped when she heard Grayson's howl. She shivered. "To- uh, be continued.." she shrugged and walked out to the clearing. Grayson was there. He did not look happy

Milo’s ears dropped at the sign of his growl. Miki covered her head. Did I upset him that much? I should apologize and maybe give him something…

He looked all the wolves in the eye, not afraid of the challengers. " Miki please step up with your brother, milo." Gray said

Miki followed orders, Milo felt a bit offended, but followed anyways.

His eyes softened, "don't look so nervous, your not in trouble, just tell me what you told me, when i came back from the hunt."

Miki sat down. “Before you go Alpha… did Sasika get my gift?”

Gray let out a little laugh of amusement " she left for a hunt, but I have it in my den safe and sound in my den, the moment I see her, i'll give it to her and let you know." adressing the rest of the wolves, " Deltas i'd like to talk to you please in my den" Gray dismissed the meeting, still mad but calm now. he waited patiently " eve please meet me in the den after the deltas"

He listened to me? He really does care about me! Miki smiled, her tail began to wag, “Thank you Alpha!” She shouted with joy.

Miki smiled more, “He’s going to be so happy that you said that!” She skips along into the den.

He smiled at her, sadness in his eyes "may the wolf allowed to love her, love her fully, affectionately and, forever." He prayed to the moon.

Theres something wrong with Grayson… Milo sure does like Eve, but I think the Eve still likes Grayson more… Maybe Eve will be the Alpha Female? She would probably love that! Miki lost her smile. She tried to put it back on her face, but she couldn’t. “Alpha… are you okay?” She tried to shut her mouth, but her concern was stopping her from doing so.

" I'm fine, don't worry about me Miki, can you please call in the delta's, we'll talk more later"

“I’m banned from the den… I could get John, he’s the only one left that will talk to me…” (John is one of the popular deltas.)
