Andion sighed again and ran a hand through his hair, "That man is crazy…"
Andion sighed again and ran a hand through his hair, "That man is crazy…"
“I think we’re all a little crazy here,” Blaine chuckled. “But, yeah. He’s definitely crazy.”
"There's like… our crazy and then.. his crazy," Andion shook his head a little, "The crown prince! It's insane!"
“If we pull this off, they’re going to be begging for our heads on a platter,” Blaine muttered, shaking her head.
Andion frowned a little and thought for a few moments, "What if…" He lowered his voice, "What if we don't kill him? Not even after we've got the information we need about the… markings and such…"
Blaine opened and closed her mouth a few times, unsure of how to respond. “We’d be slaughtered… Unless, of course, you wanted to… leave afterwards…”
Andion swallowed, "We could try to reason with him, the prince. Explain our situation and see if he could… give us protection from the people here…"
“Everyone here is a trained assassin, Andion. They’d figure out a way to get to us,” Blaine pointed out, subtly making sure no one was listening.
"The prince might have his own assassins. We don't know what's over there. Magic, dragons I don't freaking know!" Andion sighed, "He could be an assassin himself who knows."
Blaine nodded slowly. “It’s not that I don’t agree with you that we could do that, it’s just… I’m sure they’d find us, unless…”
"Unless what?" Andion furrowed his bows a little.
“We could, um, fake our deaths,” Blaine suggested with a shrug. “I don’t know. That probably wouldn’t work…”
"It might… or we could fake his death…" Andion mused.
Blaine blinked and furrowed her eyebrows on thought. “Do you think that would work? I mean, I guess that would be better than my idea because then Thranion wouldn’t just send someone else to kill him. But if he knew we were stilll alive and hadn’t come back here…”
"We'd be in deep sh-t… Let's not think too much now. We have tomorrow and the few days on the boat to think of a plan…" Andion said, sighing and ruffling his hair.
“Yeah… All of this is going to give me a headache,” Blaine joked with a slight laugh. “Let’s just focus on the rest of the day, today, yeah?”
Andion nodded, "Yeah. What should we do? We need to prepare but… that'll be stressful…"
“We could start packing,” Blaine suggested with a shrug. “Grab some lunch first, maybe?”
"That sounds cool. Lunch then pack." Andion cracked a small smile and took Blaine's hand in his.
“Shall we see what they have here for lunch today?” Blaine asked, giving Andion’s hand a quick squeeze as she grinned up at him.
"Sure, sounds like fun." Andion squeezed her hand back and led them towards the dining hall.
“It can’t be worse than breakfast the other day, right?” Blaine joked with a chuckle as they walked.
"It might be, you never know really know with this place." Andion shrugged and chuckled.
Blaine crinkled her nose in amused disgust. “I was trying to stay positive, babe…”
Andion let out a laugh, "I know, I know. Sorry."
Blaine nudged him playfully. “Come on, let’s get this over with, yeah?”
Andion sighed and nodded, "Yeah." He pushed open the doors for the dining hall and headed towards the food.
“Definitely better than it could be,” Blaine said with a shrug as she filled her plate with food very similar to what had been out that morning.
"You got that right…" Andion muttered, starting to pile food onto his plate.
Blaine finished getting her food and looked around the room for a seat. Seeing the place she and Andion has sat in earlier, shoe pointed it out to him. “Should we sit there again?”
