"You were the one who suggested a shower, anyway," Lilak chuckled, shaking her head.
"You were the one who suggested a shower, anyway," Lilak chuckled, shaking her head.
Cameron nodded. “I know. Then I got comfy again.”
"So… are you going to shower, then, or not?" Lilah asked as she raised an eyebrow at him.
Cameron looked at her. “Well do you want me to stay like this?” He gestured to his robed self.
"Cameron, I honestly don't even care at this point," Lilah laughed lightly. "Do whatever you want."
Cameron leaned back into the bed with a stretch and yawn. “I’ll stay like this till you make me get up.”
"If you start to look, smell, or feel dirty, you're showering," Lilah warned him playfully, leaning over to kiss his cheek.
Cameron chuckled and relaxed into her and the bed. “Fair enough.” He beamed.
"Oh, it's more than fair," Lilah teased with a light laugh as she trailed kisses across his cheek and behind his ear.
Cameron’s low laugh of amusement turned to the wild giggles as she kissed behind his ear. He wiggled closer to her, shoving his head into her neck and curling up into her.
Lilah laughed quietly and kissed him there one more time before she wrapped her arms around him and curled up with him. "I'm so happy to be married to you."
Cameron pulled his head out from her neck and smiled, touching their noses together. “I’m glad to be married to you too.”
Lilah smiled and kissed him lightly. "I wonder what the dogs are doing…"
Cameron leaned his head back thoughtfully. “Huh. Dunno.”
"Probably napping," Lilah said with a soft smile. "In front of the oven."
Cameron smiled too. “I bet they are. Lovely dogs.”
"They're probably all curled up together, too," Lilah imagined with a hum.
Cameron hummed with her. “Lily would be snoring a little…”
"And Lilac, deaf as she's gotten, would barely even notice," Lilah chuckled lightly.
Cameron chuckled softly with her. “It’d be so peaceful.”
"And just wait, soon Lilac will have to be deaf to a baby," Lilah mused softly.
Hopefully the dog would, anyway… If she lived that long. And if Lilah and Cameron had a baby soon.
Cameron chuckled softly and hugged her close. “Hopefully. She’ll be fine till then.”
"Yeah. She will," Lilah whispered, more to reassure herself of it than anything else.
Cameron nodded, kissing her gently. “Yep. She’ll be fine.”
Lilah gave Cameron a small, thankful smile. "Anyway… Back to cuddle time."
Cameron smiled back a bit and huggled her close. “Mmm. Cuddle time.”
"Cuddle time is the best time… Well, one of them anyway," Lilah murmured, kissing his cheek.
Cameron grinned. “What’re the other times?”
Lilah made a small sound in her throat and blushed slightly. "Basically every other time I spend with you…"
Cameron laughed gently and kissed her blushing face with gentle lips. “Awww… no need to blush, Lilah. I feel the same way.”
