Moony shrugged. “We should try and talk to them anyway.”
Moony shrugged. “We should try and talk to them anyway.”
"I guess…" She said, walking slowly towards the humans.
Moony accompanied her along with her to the humans, who hadn’t noticed them approaching.
"You can talk to them." She said, falling in line with him.
Moony stopped and shook his head. “I do not think I should.”
"Why not? You suggested we talk to them."
“I am stranger than what you are. My talking patterns are strange compared to a Human’s.”
"I didn't think they were. What do you mean strange?"
Moony sighed. “Could you just do it, please.”
Echo huffed. "Fine. But you have to talk to the next humans we find." She said, walking over to the two humans.
Moony frowned but vowed he wouldn’t.
The male glanced over and grinned a little. “Hi there. I didn’t think there was anyone else out here.”
"Uh well..hi! We were just wondering if you could maybe tell us where the nearest..I think you call it..town? Where the nearest one of those is." She smiled.
The man raised an eyebrow but didn’t question it. “Sure I could. There’s one up that hill.” He pointed.
"Thank you!" Echo said happily, walking away a little toward the direction he pointed.
Moony tailed her as the man grinned and nodded, looking for his daughter and beckoning her again.
Echo sighed heavily once they were far away from the man. "That was not fun."
Moony frowned. “Humans seem to be okay.”
"You didn't have to talk to them. It was stressful."
“Hmm… sure it was. Didn’t seem too bad.”
"Then you do it." She frowned.
Moony sighed. “I cannot now, can I?”
"When we meet the other humans."
Moony grunted and started going up the hill slowly, panting.
Echo walked happily next to him. They reached the top of the hill and she gasped. "A town!"
Moony gasped for air and looked up. “In…indeed.”
"Are you okay?" She asked, turning to him.
Moony coughed a couple times and straightened in posture. “Y-yes. I’m alright.”
"Okay. We found a town though! Let's go!" She said, starting down the hill.
Moony watched her. “The town is that way.” He pointed down a path.
"I knew that." She said, pointing down the path and turning towards it.
