"You are very wonderful. You are the most wonderful. Wlitescîne." The last word was one that really… conveyed Sequoia's true feelings about Aniña. It was a wonderfully expressive word that literally translated to poetry core but it meant a strong feeling usually associated with intense positive emotions. So sayeth Sequoia's mighty textbook.
Aniña’s blush deepened, “I-I don’t know what that word means…” She muttered, looking down into her lap and fiddling with her fingers. Damn her, she wasn’t supposed to get all flustered from a compliment.
Sequoia explained with a shy smile, repeating the textbook definition almost perfectly. It was rare for her to show her nerdy side, but when she did it was pretty obvious. And a little weird because she always thought people would think she read dictionaries for fun and other weird stuff like that. She covered her slight embarrassment by leaning over and kissing Aniña on the cheek.
Before Sequoia could pull away too far, Aniña connected their lips before a few moments before pulling away slightly to purr onto her wife’s lips, “I think I like your nerdy side~”
The butterflies began flapping up a hurricane and a bright red flush spread across Sequoia's cheeks. She had no idea why this was as flattering as it was- probably the fact that nobody had ever commented on her nerdiness before- but it was really nice. Really really nice. She hummed happily into the kiss.
Aniña smiled a little into the kiss, wrapped her arms around Sequoia’s middle and pulling her into her lap.

Sequoia yelped a little, placing a startled hand on Aniña's arm. Soon, she relaxed back into her wife's grip, content to kiss until she melted into warm jelly. Although she was by no means a virgin, she hadn't had many lays that made her feel this happy. "You're very attractive, Habibi. You know that?"

“If that’s what you believe that I’ll belive it too.” Aniña muttered kissing down Sequoia’s jawline and to her neck. Her hands roamed lazily up and down her wife’s sides slowly.
(Sorry I've been gone, debate has been kicking my ass. I'll probably be off most of tomorrow too. Sunday is when my schedule goes back to normal)
Sequoia hummed happily, pressing her face closer to Aniña's with a contented grin. She was keenly aware of how lucky she was to have the wife she had. To have the life she could build with Aniña. Things could be so much worse. She could find herself in bed with Baron Lichtenstine, already beginning to build a family. It was a completely disgusting thought. "It's the truth."

“Whatever you say goes, Liran…” Aniña said, kissing her way back up to Sequoia’s lips gently. Gods she could kiss this woman for hours and not get bored. She ran her hands up to Sequoia’s shoulders, neck and then through her hair gently.
(Just got home. Made it all the way to semifinals.)
Sequoia purred when ran a hand through her hair. The warm touches were sending little tingles down her spine but there was something soothing about having her hair played with. Something special. This entire marriage was something special. "I'm so glad we got married."

Aniña pulled back and smiled softly at Sequoia, "Surprisingly, I am too." She said gently. She never thought that she'd ever be this happy. Be with someone who could make her happy. But it was real and it was happening and she was glad it was.

"Good. I don't think I could take it if you were pulling some elaborate prank or something," Sequoia admitted, pressing a kiss into Aniña's jaw. If she had to make Aniña fall in love with her again, she was actually gonna cry. And not polite, gentle tears down the cheeks crying, full on sobs.
"Good thing I'm not a pranking person…" Aniña said, letting out a small sigh, "And I wouldn't have called you Liran if I didn't mean it…" The name was very special to her and it was true, she wouldn't have given it to Sequoia if she didn't like her deeply.
"The same goes for you with Habibi. I don't know if I've ever really used it with another person before." Sequoia did know, actually. It had been used exactly once before on a girl she thought was her true love. Things didn't pan out and Sequoia decided to retire the name. Yet here it was again, with a person Sequoia thought was even more important.
Aniña nodded slowly, "I never… I never thought I'd ever get a chance to use the name… turns out I was wrong." She'd never really had the time to focus on love except for the occasional one night stand but she's never spend her life with one of those people.
"Just this once, I'm glad you were." There were very few people that Sequoia treasured in this world and Aniña was one of them now. Why was it so easy for Sequoia to let people in? She knew that Aniña as good, but she also knew that Aniña could easily rip her heart out. "I'm so happy you let me in."
Aniña blushed a little and leaned backwards slightly, "I-I'm happy I let you in, too." She said quietly. The last time she let someone in it ended badly, horribly. And she hadn't let anyone in since but out of all people, she was glad it was Sequoia who she did open back up to.
"Mmm. We'll be good queens one day, don't you think?" Sequoia kissed Aniña again, on the cheek his time. Being queen would be a new challenge but not one Sequoia couldn't face. Especially when she had her kickass wife by her side.
"Maybe you will be, I'm not cut out to rule a kingdom…" Aniña muttered, leaning back into the bed and pulling Sequoia with her. Unlike Sequoia, Aniña was raised to run an army, not an entire kingdom. She was glad she was married to someone who knows what they will be doing.
"You can run the military and I'll handle social events and we'll let the board of advisors help us both out with policymaking. How does that sound?" While Sequoia knew how to rule in theory, she had very little kingdom-wide experience. She was definitely going to be leaning on the board for her first few years.
Aniña sighed and nodded, "Yeah, that sounds like a good plan." She was glad Sequoia at least knew how to partly run a kingdom, unlike herself. But they could get through this, they could rule together and it would all work out fine.

While Aniña didn't seem super happy with the arrangement, she agreed with it. Sequoia felt a little better knowing she and Aniña could rule together in a way that was balanced. In a way that gave both of them the powers they wanted. "My first act as queen is gonna be declaring you hottest person in the kingdom."

Aniña smirked and looked over at Sequoia, "Is it now? And what if I want to declare you the hottest person in the kingdom?" She raised an eyebrow at her. Not that she minded that act one bit. Ruling with Sequoia was going to be one hell of a ride.
"Too bad. It was my idea first." Sequoia grinned at Aniña. "I guess you'll just have to deal with being the official hottest person in the kingdom. What a hardship." Maybe Sequoia could pass a law that said Aniña was totally the hottest person. It wouldn't be serious, but it would be good practice fighting with people about making laws and drafting them and such. Plus it was a law that couldn't hurt anyone. And it would be hilarious.
"You're insufferable…" Aniña muttered, hitting Sequoia with a near by pillow and a grin. Not that she minded. Her life could be a whole lot worse then this and this law that her wife was talking about. She was glad she married someone that knew how to have a laugh and a joke and not be serious all the time.
"Am not!" Sequoia squawked, tossing the pillow aside. She huffed dramatically, smacking Aniña on the thigh. "I am a gift. I am a downright delight. Never have you insulted me so." A hand was draped over her forehead in dramatic fashion.
Aniña rolled her eyes playfully and moved so she was lying in top of Sequoia, "If you keep talking like that wifey, I'll be forced to cut out your tongue. Not something I want to do when I've grown to like you talking." She teased.
"Will I never!" Sequoia giggled and tossed her hands around Aniña's neck. It was nice to be able to joke around and laugh with someone. She hadn't been able to do that in a few months. "If you cut my tongue out I can't call you Habibi anymore. We can't have that!"
"True, but then I don't have to listen to you saying how much of a delight you are. You're not wrong, though. But it gets annoying after a while." Aniña smirked a little and pressed her lips against Sequoia's.
