Sabine stopped at a door. "This is where they keep………….where they keep agents who have been broken. It's a lot more scary in here because…………these used to be good agents–friends, before they were broken."

Macha swallowed, looking straight ahead.

They went in and Dani froze. "Sabine–"
"Yes I know. Just keep going." Sabine looked down, trying not to look at the person Dani had seen. Jordan. Another person that was so painfully close but so far.

Macha kept walking forward, terrified of what she might see.

Ace wanted to leave the Citadel for a nice fly around the city. He checked if he had a key or something, but just decided to ask someone if he could go out.

Sabine finally got to where she was going. She stopped in front of a cell similar to the one Blake had been in. A hardly recognizable Grace was asleep on the bed. But she looked more or less okay. On the outside.

Macha froze when she saw the sleeping form of Grace. She stepped forward, hand outstretched.

Sabine stared at her sister's sleeping form from behind the glowing barrier that separated them from her. "She's been in a coma like state for nearly two years. Every once in a while she'll have a really bad seizure………" She couldn't go on, Dani biting her lip, staying silent.

Macha swallowed, eyes full of pain. “Do you know what triggered it?”

Sabine shook her head. "We didn't, for the longest time we didn't. But now I think I know."

“And that is?”, she asked softly.

"When you said that something was trying to possess you. Grace was yelling something before she collapsed. It was something about the R.A.C.'s Rising………." Sabine was trying to get out her words, having difficulty.

“Oh.”, she whispered. “I don’t think it has to do with the RAC through. Too powerful.”

"It doesn't." Then she turned to Dani. "You can fix her."
"What?!? Sabine how can I fix her? The last time I read a broken mind I almost died! Fixing a broken mind is waaayyyyy harder than just going into her mind and saying, 'Abracadabra'!"
"I know but if you would just–"
"Sabine–" Dani huffed, crossing her arms. "Give me a few days to learn how to fix a broken mind. Then I'll try. I promise. Macha, Zander, any objections to this?"

Ellis scampered to open all the closets first.

Macha raised her hand. “One.” She took a deep breath. “YOU COULD DIE!!!”

Dani bit her lip. "And Grace IS dying."

(Ooooooh it got better)

“But—- Dani, can’t you do it safely? And not die?!”

"I–I–I……………….I don't know." Dani said with a frown, knowing that Zander was going to hate this.
