Cassius followed the guard. Before they entered the castle, a group of women appeared to take their horses to the stables. Cassius allowed it and continued forward with the guard. Finally, they reached the throne room, where he was told to wait while someone brought Virgil in.
Virgil brushed into the throne room. He was told that Cass was here but, wouldn't beilive unless he saw it. "You really are here!" He exclaims.
"Did you expect me not to be?" He asked, raising an eyebrow even though the other couldn't see it.
"Well, I wasn't notified of you coming her til." He checks the sundial outside. "About four minutes ago."
"I sent you a letter?" Cassius asked, confused. "I told you someone had threatened me and you told me someone had threatened you as well. So, I came to your kingdom."
"Hmm, well I didn't send you a letter but someone is threating me." He peers around the room, his eyes landing on something that only he could see.
"Virgil? What are you looking at?" He followed the other man's gaze but found nothing there.
Virgil shook his head, clearing an image from his mind. "Nothing."
Cassius huffed. "Fine. Either way, we can continue this conversation in the morning. We've been traveling all night in order to get here, and I'm tired. I'm guessing there's somewhere my servants, guards, and I can sleep?"
"Yup." Virgil said, calling over a servant. "Llease escort him, his guards and servents to the guest wings." He instructs the servant.
"Are you too busy to escort us yourself?" Cassius asked, a teasing tone in his voice.
Virgil smiles, showing his sharp teeth. "Yes actually, I was in the middle of tourchering information out of a prisoner."
"They can wait," Cassius said dismissively. "Show me to the rooms."
Virgil raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "And what if I don't?" He asks snarkily, his lips pursed.
"You will, so let's go. I'm tired, and I want to sleep, and I really don't care what you're doing right now. Show me to the rooms." He crossed his arms defiantly.
Virgil stood his ground for a moment then deflated. "Your right, I hate when you are right." He mutters, sweeping past some other people in the room.
Cassius smiled and followed after him. His group trailed behind them. "I haven't been to this kingdom in a while. It looks different."
"It shouldn't, we didn't do anything." He retorted, walking at a fast pace.
"Yes, but there's a different ruler. That makes the kingdom different," Cassius muttered back.
"Hm, perhaps." He says, crossing his arms and walking briskly towards the guest quarters.
"Normally you're the talkative one," Cassius noted, "what's happened?"
"My kingdoms been attacked and multiple villages have been butchered." He says angriliey, still walking.
"How many have died?" He walked faster, watching his servants and guards go off to the rooms. He gestured to one of the doors. "Is this where I can sleep?"
"Over a hundred and yes, this is where you can sleep." He says, opening the door for his friend.
("friend")
"We'll talk about it in the morning," he muttered once again. He lingered in the doorway for a moment, before stepping into the room. "Goodnight, Commander. Er, Virgil." He closed the door behind him quickly and walked over to the bed.
(Should we skip to the next day?)
(If we're busy we don't have to do anything right now. I just don't really think there's anything we can do with Cassius going to sleep. Unless you want to do something about the prisoner)
(Yo, you do what's good for you in your own time)
