(To quote Pewdiepie for this moment to sum it up,
“I rEhSPecT wHamEn”
(Translation: I respect women”)
I think if Lilah brought it up or made a move, then it’d be less awkward for Cameron, really, because he’d be comfortable knowing she’s okay with it.)
Cameron hummed softly and shut his eyes. “Resting is nice. Very nice.”
(Lol.
Yeah, but… Lilah isn't really one to initiate stuff. If things just seemed to escalate on their own, she'd be happy with that.)
"Yup," Lilah sighed, burying her face in his neck again. "It's one of the best activities ever invented."
(Well we’re just in a giant pickle, then. I don’t want them adopting, since that happens too much in my RPs. It’d be really cute if Alex and Autumn did that, since they’re a little too busy to take care of a child. They could adopt an older kid (I actually have two characters that would work perfectly in a situation like that) but for Cameron and Lilah, natural birth and kid raising would be fluffier.)
Cameron smiled a bit and nodded. “Mmm. What should we do after we sleep?”
(Hm, yeah.)
"Whatever you wanna do is fine with me," Lilah murmured.
(But that’s just me .p.)
Cameron shut his eyes slowly. “We can figure it out once we get there.”
(No, I get it. I was just preoccupied with something else, which is why I responded so shortly. And late.)
"Mmhm," Lilah hummed in agreement, closing her eyes as she let her breathing slow.
(I get it! Do you wanna skip to when they wake up?)
(Sure! Should I start this time, or do you want to?)
(I can if you’d like me to.)
(It doesn't matter either way to me. I'm just sitting around folding laundry, so… Yeah.)
(Lol can you, then? Please?)
(Lol. Yeah. It'll be here in a couple of minutes, then.)
Lilah blinked her eyes open to find herself surrounded by a familiar, comfortable body in an unfamiliar room on an unfamiliar bed. She groaned as she looked around for a moment, trying to gather her bearings.
Oh. Right.
She was on the train with Cameron, and they were on their honeymoon… Their honeymoon. Meaning that they were married! Lilah giggled at the thought before she buried her face in Cameron's shoulder.
Cameron’s head was still tucked away under her neck and their legs were still entwined. He was sleeping somewhat well, but not well enough to snore. His neck was craning slightly to keep the position and his body overall was just unhappy. Cameron himself was estatic. He married the one he loved and couldn’t get enough of her.
Lilah carefully pulled away from Cameron, hoping that the small movement wouldn't wake him. She rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling with a grin, resting her hands across her stomach.
Cameron blinked awake, his lashes stroking her neck gently as he did. He stirred off of her chest and glanced at her sleepily, blinking sleep from his eyes.
“Mmm… morning.”
"Morning, hubby," Lilah whispered with a soft giggle.
Cameron set his head down next to hers. “Mm,” is all he responded with as he shut his eyes again. His body stopped complaining about the pain in his neck, and went to a slight pain in his hip instead. His hips always hurt. His weight and height didn’t help either. His mother had weak hips, unlike his father, who had spctacular genes overall. Life was just an ache for Cameron.
Lilah looked at him in worry. He was normally happier in the mornings, and she had thought he would have been especially happy today.
"What's wrong?" she asked quietly, reaching out to take his hand.
Cameron blinked open his eyes. He couldn’t sleep. He was on his honeymoon! He couldn’t have aches.
But his hip’s aching was just getting worse.
“I just have a little ache. It’ll go away eventually.” He smiled a bit, though he was lying a bit. His aches stayed for hours, since that’s how aches go.
"Are you sure? If I can help you at all, you'll let me know, right?" Lilah asked, her voice sounding more like it was a statement rather than a question.
Cameron nodded and tried to relax. His hips didn’t let him. He shifted restlessly in the bed, his eyes furrowing briefly in pain.
"Cameron… Honey, please, how can I help you?" Lilah asked, her growing concern showing in her voice as she pushed herself up onto one elbow.
Cameron shook his head. “It’s just an ache, love. Don’t worry about it.” He huffed and gave up on trying to be comfy. He wished he were 3’4 instead of 6’4 or a normal freaking height and weight.
"I will worry about it because I care about you and I want you to be happy. And comfortable," Lilah said softly, sighing in near defeat. "But if you're sure you're okay…"
Cameron hugged her close. “It’s just my normal aches and pains. They’ll go away with time. Maybe I could get a massage… that would help…” He’d never thought of a massage. Now that he did, it sounded like the number-one thing to do.
"We could get one together. Or I could just give you one," Lilah suggested, kissing his cheek.
Cameron smiled a little. “The latter sounds nice. Would you?”
"Sure!" Lilah chirped with a smile. "You'll have to roll onto your back. Where does it hurt?"
