Crystal’s eyes suddenly went open. She grabbed her lab coat, and decided to keep her sweater of. She put the sleeves of the lab coat on, and began to walk over to the cot. She looked underneath and the glass was gone. oh no…. Crap! I knew I herd someone last night. She put on a fake smile and went to the door of the cramped room.

Wincing at the lights as they were flipped on, Marco listened to the loud whirring that accompanied them in the morning. Flipping over, he looked out into the hallway, and at the cell across from his, thankfully it was empty. If that were thrown in with everything else, I think I'd have a panic attack… He thought, imagining some stranger staring at him first thing in the morning. Sitting up, he clamped his eyes shut and then reopened them. Another day, doing the same dull things.

Crystal sneezed, this sneeze sounded weird. The hell? She took her sweater and whipped the snot of with the tag. It was a brownish green. What in the world? I must be sick or something I guess…. she hangs the sweater on the edge of the cot.

"Breakfast!" One guard said. It seemed like the only time thwy ssid more than three words, was when they were reprimanding someone. How had people here gotten so damned cruel?
His door was opened.
He stepped out, and that was when he noticed it.
A large door, maybe5' wide, 8' tall, and made of heavy steel that had to make it weigh almost a ton. With large strong hinges, and a small panel beside it. Like a vault door. At the end of the hallway. He didn't need to ask why they needed it. It was to keep them out, and something else in.
He shuddered.
This was no asylum.

@KoffeeOwl

Sighing quite loudly, Marco stood up as one of the guards came to the door of his cell. The man had a hateful expression on his face as he unlocked the door, glaring at Marco through brown eyes. Once outside of the cell, Marco quickly walked towards the end of the hallway towards the ending point of the cells, wanting to avoid speaking or accidentally bumping into one of the overly violent guards. They don't have any reason to be so violent. And when they aren't beating someone they're either totally silent– or screaming.

She walked out, and wasn’t stopped by anyone. She went to the dining room quickly and got her food. Her plate was just a lettuce salad, and some milk that was spoiled. She took her food to the picnic table and sat down.

(Sorry I took so long, I had to do do something for my mother.)

@Elder-God-Whisper

(Oh jeez. I missed a ton. Maybe I should just drop out of this. I don’t want to hold people back when I don’t respond. I have issues with internet. I’m sorry.)

Crystal poked her food with the fork, as always it looked spoiled. The lettduce was probably expired with brown spots on it. The one singular tomato was an ugly brownish orange color. She took a deep breath and put it up to her noose. Ew… they expect us to eat this? She hesitantly took a bite of the tomato. It tasted like actual trash.

@yeetus

Rosemary looked around wildly at the dining space. Crap! There are someone in every table. No matter. She chose a table with one girl on it and sat down

Stumbling into the dining hall thanks to a shove from the man who had unlocked his cell door, Marco made his way to pick up his food. Per usual it was a bruised-looking salad, and somewhat grey oatmeal. How do they manage to give it this color…? He wondered, carrying it over to the table that he had been at the day before. I haven't eaten in a few days, so I think I will today. Setting everything down in front of himself, Marco looked under his plate to see the lines that were carved into the table. Each day, he made a new set, making sure that none of them overlapped or were jumbled up.

Looking over to his side, Marco remembered Cressida from the day before. Picking up his spoon and running it through the bowl of grey-ish oatmeal, he finally spoke. "Hey, did you hear anything odd last night?" He asked, getting straight to the point. He would have liked to talk about something positive for once, but considering what had happened the night before, Marco wanted to make sure it wasn't only him.

@Norepinephrinxx

Hayden got his nasty looking food and looked for a place to sit, he spotted Marco and Cressida and decided to sit by them again. He went over and set his food on the table.

Cressida frowns, thinking. "Yeah, I reckon so. You?"
