Aether frowned at the flinch, but decided to say nothing. The teacher beckoned them into the mini arena, where JJ and Geom already were. As soon as she entered the arena, the teacher blew the whistle, signifying the start of the match. Aether whirled around, facing the teacher, who had a smug expression on her face. "Fade's not even in the arena yet!" she yelled.
Fade, who was a bit behind Aether, hesitated when she entered the arena. Then he heard the teacher blow the whistle for the start of the match and totally freaked out. What do I do now? Do I just walk in? He thought as he slowly tried to find an opening that wouldn't make it look awkward when he entered.
Aether turned around and saw Fade trying to find an opening in the match. She beckoned him with a hand. "Come on, Fade! Hur-" She was suddenly cut off as a blast of heat hit her side and sent her flying.

Fade flinches when she sees Aether get hit, he seems to be more scared than on edge when he sees that but manages to find an opening and gets into the arena. He gets quickly on guard when he sees the two he's dealing with. He looks back to where Aether was. "Hey, are you okay???" He says wanting to go help her but too terrified to take his eyes off of the two guys.

Aether groaned and stood up, holding a hand to her side. "Yeah, I'm just gonna change into my wolf now." Her wolf, Lealu, was eager for a fight. Her bones cracked and popped, and soon a gray wolf stood in her place. The wolf growled threateningly at the two boys.
Fade looked at her with wide and surprised eyes as she changed her physical form into her wolf form, taking his eyes off of the opponents, happy for a distraction. He then turned back around and got in fighting position.
Lealu lunged at Geom when she saw that Geom was summoning an ice blast, pinning him down. She tried not to crush him, knowing that her weight was heavier than normal in her wolf form. She turned her head and barked at Fade, trying to urge him to attack JJ.
Fade didn't miss a beat and used his lightning speed to get behind JJ under a second and before JJ could react Fade wrapped his arm around his neck, holding him in a headlock for a second before flipping him over on the ground with his demonic strength.
The teacher blew the whistle, signifying the end of the match. Aether quickly changed back into her human form, luckily still wearing her clothes. She couldn't count the number of times she switched back to human form naked.
Fade looked down at JJ for a lingering second deciding if whether he should just wreck him all the way or call it a day. He then heard the teacher's whistle and snapped out of his bloodlust, awkwardly making his way out of the arena, glancing at Aether now and then.
Aether bounded after Fade, her side a little sore from the hit she took. "Hey, good game Fade!" She stopped for a second, debating her word choice. "Or should I say, good fight? Good battle? I'm not really sure."
Fade turned to her and smiled warmly. "Yea, good game~" He laughed a bit afterward. "Your wolf form is really impressive, I'd kill to be able to turn into one" He joked, though he really wished he could.
Aether shrugged. "It's not all that. Within the pack, there's a "caste" system, per se, and the size of you wolf depends on the caste you're in." she said, lifting her hands as she talked. "Like, for example, alpha's are on the top, so they have HUGE wolves. And then, the omega's, they're on the bottom, so they have small wolves."
Fade nods as he listens to her. "Still sounds pretty dope." Fade stay quiet after this, not knowing what to say but then is tempted to ask what she thought about Barry. "So umm…Aether" he coughs a bit, sounding a bit uncomfortable. "What do you think about Barry? Like he's a really cool guy yea?"

Aether thought the question was a bit out of the blue, but she answered it nonetheless. "Yeah, he seems like a pretty sweet guy." She smiled at the mention of her new friend.

Fade kinda brightened up at her response, but tried to refrain from having a smug look on his face. "Right no yea he's totally a great guy, totally agree a hundred percent," He said giving her a friendly smile. "Oh! On that note, what class do you have next?"

Aether tapped a finger on her chin, thinking. "Hmm, I'm pretty sure I have…Magical Creatures next? With Miss Hearth?" She rustled through her backpack, trying to find her schedule. She felt a paper, and pulled it out to see a crumpled and torn version of her schedule. Aether skimmed it, happy to find that she had been correct. "Yep! Magical Creatures. What about you?"

Fade nods, acknowledging her accuracy when she half guessed her class, he then takes out his schedule, following her example when she asked what he had next. " I think I've got…psychology, so we can learn more on how our emotions affect our powers and how we'd behave in certain situations and if we're able to control ourselves…something like that," He says half reading the description of the class.
