"Mh, they better not." Afriel gave Zackary a kiss on the cheek and went back to what she was doing. "Lets see if your baking skills died while you where gone."
"Mh, they better not." Afriel gave Zackary a kiss on the cheek and went back to what she was doing. "Lets see if your baking skills died while you where gone."
Zackary yawned. “They’re dying right now. They’re suffering from lack of sleep.”
"Hmm yes, but we've got a job to do." Afriel laughed and continued with what she was doing.
Zackary watched, remembering what to do. “Okay. What do you want me to do?”
"Who about whip up some frosting? The list says something about a cake."
Zackaru grunted and crossed the area to the sugars and dyes. He started to mix things together, humming softly as he added and mixed.
After a few hours or so of baking Afriel dusted off her hands and sighed. "How does a break sound? Because I don't know about you but all those good smells are making me hungry."
Zackary walked over after shoving icing into one of those plastic distributor things and set it down.
“Great idea.”
"Shall we go across the street to that pizza joint?" Afriel pulled off an apron and looked Zackary up and down. "I mean, if you feel like leaving in you PJ's that is."
“I don’t really care if I go out like this or not,” Zackary admitted with a shrug.
"Alright, to the pizza place!" Afriel grinned and skipped to the front of the bakery, gave a little wave to Eden, and skipped out the doors.
Zackary tailed her, but didn’t wave to Eden, nor did he even look over. He just shut the door behind him, to be courteous.
"So what kind of pizza do you like, Zackary?" Afriel spun on her heels to walk backwards and look at him.
Zackary glanced up at her through his shaggy hair. “Oh, just extra cheese. I’m not much of a toppings guy.”
"Hm, alright." Afriel spun back around so she could see where she going, and almost crashed into the door of the place.
Zackary chuckled. “You alright, dear?” He opened the door for her slowly, stroking her arm.
"I am the definition of alright." Afriel smiled and went through the door. "Thank you."
Zackary chuckled again. “You wouldn’t have been if you rammed into the door.” He nudged her playfully as he walked in after her.
"Uh-huh." Afriel rolled her eye's even though she was still smiling. "Hi, we'd like a cheese pizza."
The person at the counter nodded and shouted the order to the back.
“For here or to go?”
Afriel looked to Zackary, "to go?" She asked, wondering if he wanted to eat back at the bakery.
“Here’s fine,” He told the person, who nodded. “Okay, that’ll be ten ninety-four.”
Afriel pulled some money out of her pocket and handed it to the person. "Okay."
The person rung up the cash and handed Afriel back the change. “It’ll be about twenty minutes.”
"Alrighty. Thank you." Afriel smiled and turned back to Zackary.
Zackary grinned back. “Let’s go sit. Do you want a booth?”
"Sure. A booth sounds good." Afriel made her way other to a booth and slid in. "So, a cheese kinda guy?"
Zackary sat next to her, crossing a leg over the other. “Yep. Cheese. How about you?”
Afriel shrugged. "You know those pizza's that Litarlly have everything on them? Those, they're great."
Zackary chuckled. “Polar opposites. To be honest, I haven’t tried anything of the sort.”
