The cold patch of ice is still on the path from where Yve was sitting and the plants in the patch have iced over completely. Some are even dead. The air around the patch is frozen, cold to breathe and unhealthily chilly.

@@abrocadabruh

Yve looks at her and sighs.
“Oh hello.” He says, frowning. “You again.” He says, heating up and trying to get the ice patch to look as though it never happened. It doesn’t work, the plants don’t come back to health. He sighs.

Ianthe tucks her staff under her arm and writes in her notebook. I don't know if I can trust you. Besides, why else would you be here?

She places the paper on the ground between them and quickly backs away.

“For the peace and quiet.” He says slowly. He is getting sick of explaining that he just has nothing better to do right now. That his life is unimaginably boring, hence why he finds himself in an arena full of vampires trying to kill humans and humans trying to kill vampires.

@PeaceWillWin-FearWillLose

Ianthe writes again, keeping a watchful eye on Yve. I still can't trust you, though.

((Sorry for the rubbish response, I'm trying to work on a thing for English. L, you'll know what I'm talking about.))

@@abrocadabruh

“Bloody hell isnt two times of not killing you enough to get the point across?” He snaps. Then, his mechanical leg gives in and he falls over, crying out. He drops his cane and it rolls a metre or so away. He groans, grumbling.

@@abrocadabruh

He sighs and struggles to get up, adjusting his leg but to no success. It is limp. He pulls his pant leg up and jabs at the leg.

It is a mass of wires, plates of petal and curved ball joints. There are tangles and scratches, dints and bumps and it’s no wonder why his leg is not working. He groans and fiddles with the joint, his working leg shaking a little. Then, both his knees churn in on his body and he falls over, swearing.

He seems to have enough issues to be rendered harmless.

@PeaceWillWin-FearWillLose

Ianthe steps towards him, placing the cane on the ground next to him and taking out her notebook. She flips through its pages until she stops on a page titled "Fixing". There are detailed drawings of runes, annotated in minuscule writing.

The dracopyre muttered something in his own language, something that was not best repeated in English. His eyes glared after the other vampire. His fangs remaining bared. It was clear the male was seething with rage. It took all his self-control to keep from leaping at the other and simply tearing them apart. The growl continued to emit from him.
Sosdovah hissed softly, then his form once again slunk back to the darkness, seemingly becoming apart of the shadows once again. He slipped along in the darkness, making not a sound, just a simple shadow. The male remained slipping in the shadowy alleyways, knowing he had the advantage there. The draconic male's eyes shifted upwards. He honestly was growing a bit bored staying hidden though. He just had to keep remembering, in due time, the prey would come to him.
There was food provided in houses, which Sosdovah knew the humans would be searching for in order to survive, not that it would matter. A smirk came to the male as he allowed his mind to think about what he would do with his first catch. Perhaps he might catch and release, then catch again. Suppose one could compare it to a cat with a mouse, playing with it until it finally dies. Call it cruel, or whatever you wish, Sosdovah could care less.
He shifted restlessly in the shadows. The dracopyre's head lifted, hearing a cry in the distance. Almost instantly his more draconic instincts kicked in; prey was injured. Which in turn meant easy pickings. A growl came from him again, his form tense. Too tense to where it was painful. Sosdovah so badly wanted to take to his dragon from, but resisted the urge. He swallowed hard, fighting the urge. No, not yet, he couldn't let his dragon nature be shown just yet. To him, that would ruin the surprise…
So the dracopyre made himself lay down in the shadows. His forked tongue flicked in and out, continuing to test the air. His yellow eyes seemingly flashed to red in the darkness, but disappeared again. What sounded like scales scraping seemed to whisper in the shadows as he continued to wait in the alleyways. Perhaps there was a method to his 'madness' of sitting still in the shadows and waiting instead of going out to find the prey.

Fiona watched what had happened to Yve from below the tree she was sitting in, as another person approached, Fiona took off into the forest, her bow still drawn, but it swung with her arms as she ran. She ran as far as she could before she was ready to collapse and then climbed up the nearest tree, catching her breath.

Sym stalked back towards the lake, preferring the advantage he had there over the chance that he might not see any humans. He dove into the water silently, the lake was the only water source in a couple mile radius making it the perfect place to spot people.

Kailani shrugged. "If I do not see you by the time the sunsets, I will look for you." she told the girl as she left. And then she headed into town, scanning the allies and shadows, her eyes growing dark, fully black. She'd rather see what lurked in the shadows, sacrificing better sight in the day. She caught a glimpse of something as she passed. But she was not ready to face a vampire. If she didn't have to, she wasn't going to.

Name: Corbin Abbott.
Species: Human.
Age: 24 years old.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Dirty blonde hair that is a bit longer than the buzzed style, usually has some sort of stubble on his jaw, hard/clean cut features, athletic build, lightly tanned skin, around 6’0 or so, tattoo sleeves all the way from his wrists to his shoulders, some going along his neck and collar bone, a large scar on the back of his left leg from his lower calf to his mid thigh, large burn scars spotted along his back. He tends to wear a fitting tshirt, his old Navy Seals jacket, loose fitting camo cargo pants, and gym shoes or combat boots.
Powers/skills/abilities: No powers. He is very good with a rifle, though.
Personality type: Introverted, suffers from terrible PTSD, quiet, doesn’t open up easily, keeps to himself, controlling, more on the dominant side, aggressive and rough at times, if he knows and likes you he can get very protective and loyal, has a very rough exterior but he’s really just like a big teddy bear.
Motivations: He craves the excitement of a fight at times, and to satisfy that, he goes hunting.
Backstory: At 18, he applied to go into the Navy and train to be a Seal. At 20, he was stationed in Afghanistan. He was there for two years, until one day on a run, an undetected IED was triggered by his group. Shrapnel had struck him alongbthe leg, making a deep gash that ripped up most of the muscle there, and the heat singed the skin on his back. He had been considered lucky, though, as most of the men in the group lost limbs and were killed. He was rescued and flown back, though, to the US for surgery. He recovered for about a year, and eventually was able to walk again. He now has to use a crutch to walk most of the time, and because he was emotionally destroyed as well, he adopted a service dog, a golden retriever named Orion, to help him with his panic attacks.
Other: He is bisexual

A small black cat padded out from a shadow after the girl passed, staring at her back, then walking away. She seems interesting… Keep an eye on her. It headed into a small clearing, its form growing larger and larger until it grew into a girl with bright blue locks, shoulders slightly hunched after so many hours of crouching over. Aisha straightened out, moving her shoulders around slightly. I think that was everyone. The boy with the cane, the girl with the notepad, among others…

(Also, just added down his sexuality. Imm just jump in)

Corbin was leaned up against a tree, his leg aching. He held the military issued rifle in his hand, his head tilted downwards. Work was slow that day. But he supposed that was a good thing. Orion was laid by his feet, resting as well. He smiled down at the fluffy looking dog, thinking that he would need a bath later.

A shadow flickered in the corner of Kailani's sight but she didn't pursue it. She didn't have to, if someone or something decided to attack her, it would appear again, and then, she would lend herself to action. Until then, it was wise to remain relaxed.

@Dragoncita group

Sosdovah's patience was finally rewarded. Sure enough, a female started into the town. A grin crossed his face, once again his body seeming to tremble with anticipation. This is what had been waiting for, the prey to finally come to him. His form still remained one with the shadows around him the alleyway. Though, as he remained hidden, his eyes noted a 'black cat' suddenly appear, staring after the prey he had marked in his sight.
His forked tongue flicked out, testing the air. The male's lips curled back in disgust. Great, another vampire…
The male's voice was a soft hiss as he watched the 'cat', "Move along little kitty…I set my eyes on that morsel first…"
Then, as if on cue, the black cat turned, taking off into a different direction. Whatever it was doing (he didn't know the gender, only thing he knew was that it was competition), as long as it didn't get in his way, Sos would leave them alone. Once he was certain the other was gone, did he finally make his move. now it was just a choice of how he wanted to approach. He allowed the various scenarios to run through his mind, before finally coming to a decision.
The dracopyre waited a bit longer, trailing behind the girl, remaining in the shadows. Only now it was time to have a bit fun. Sos knew he had the advantage, but why kill the prey right away, when one could play with it?
So he finally made his move. Sosdovah decided to perhaps toy with the prey, make them see things that were perhaps there, or perhaps not. Only he would know. He moved swiftly in and out of the shadows. Purposefully he allowed a slight glint of his scales to be seen in the shadows, but quickly disappearing again. The dracopyre released a soft hiss which seemed to echo along the stone walls around him.
It was time to make the prey paranoid, maybe if he had a good one, drive them downright mad. Humans could have such weak minds.

@Desvelarse pets

The waiting was getting tedious. Corbin pushed off the tree, grunting as he began to walk back towards the road. His car had been parked there, just inside of a town. He made sure Orion was following as he relaxed a bit, seeming to let his guard down.

Kailani knew there was trouble before she saw it, before she heard it. She knew. That shadow was more than what it seemed, seemingly harmless beforehand. No anymore. Kailani took a deep breath as she watched her peripherals, the flashes of darkness more frequent than not. Vampire… she thought as her lips curled, not into a sneer though, but into a smile. No, she did not have back up, but what she did have was skill. It was imperative to know her enemies, and finally, they decided to stop hiding. She caught a flicker of…. scales. A hiss echoed, bouncing of the stone walls of the town. Kailani stopped, her head swiveling as she turned to looked behind her, her eyes black and searching. Where are you… Her eyes ate up the shadows beyond her. "I know your there…" She said aloud.

@gracehustle

Fiona sat in the tree and waited again,she cursed herself for not killing the vampire when she had the chance. I only need to last 48 hours… she thought to herself and grabbed one of her knives, she sliced a small branch off of the tree and started whittling another arrow for her bow, waiting for someone or something to come by.

Then, she hesitates. She's unsure if she should help. It would be the right thing to do, wouldn't it? She thinks to herself. But self-preservation is the most important thing right now.

She turns to leave but stops again. I mean, he has had opportunities to kill me before. Maybe I should return the favour?

Yve has just sat down and is trying to unscramble his broken leg, grumbling. He gets it to straighten out and then reaches for his cane to he can get up. He grumbles and curses to himself and the air heats up when he gets angry, but not my much.
