Cameron grinned and chewed on his lip. “I’ve been thinking about it about… the December of our first year of dating. I’m just a chicken. Oh, wait!” He scrambled out of the bed and to his dresser, rummaging around.
Cameron grinned and chewed on his lip. “I’ve been thinking about it about… the December of our first year of dating. I’m just a chicken. Oh, wait!” He scrambled out of the bed and to his dresser, rummaging around.
Lilah twisted around to watch him, careful not to irritate her sunburn. "What are you looking for?"
Cameron reached up to his sock drawer and pulled out a box.
“I thought I had a couple.” He trotted over and kneeled down, feeling somewhat ridiculous that he was doing so in his swimwear.
“Will you marry me, Lilah?”
Lilah blushed and gaped at him for a moment. He already had rings? And he was actually doing a real proposal?
"Y-yes! Yes, of course!" she laughed, pushing herself up slowly to look at him better.
(Okay, so I now have one RP ship married, one engaged, and many dating… Wowza.)
(Woweeeeee! Also this fluff is spectacular.)
Cameron rose off of his knee and sat on the bed, smiling wider than he ever has in his life. He took one of the rings out of the black box and held it out for her. It was slim but encrusted with many jewels. Mainly the older jewels like diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and such. He’d even managed to grab a golden band for it, too.
(It's amazing. The married couple just arrived in Greece for their honeymoon.
Also, I forgot that I technically have two engaged couples. The other pair are the best friends of the newlyweds. Lol.)
Lilah propped herself up with her right arm and held her left hand out for Cameron the put the ring on. She stared at it in awe; it was just breathtaking! Where has he gotten it? And when?
(xD True. Also Greece must be so pretty! What if Cameron and Lilah went to Paris for their Honeymoon!?)
Cameron put it on her ring finger carefully. Cameron held her hand for a few moments before letting it go.
“There! When I saw these I had to get them. They were two of a kind.” Cameron tugged out the matching plain gold band and put it on.
(That could be cool. I actually have a RP that was based in Paris for most of it. Lol.)
"We're not married yet, Cam. You can't wear your ring until then," Lilah chuckled, leaning over to peck him on the lips quickly.
(Lol. Now you’re prepared!)
Cameron looked down at his hand. “I’ll wear it anyway.” He laughed.
(Lol. Yup. ;D)
"You can't, though!" Lilah laughed, reaching over to playfully push on his shoulder.
“How come you get to?” Cameron exclaimed indignantly, nudging her back playfully.
"I just get to wear the engagement ring, not the wedding band," Lilah explained. "Do you not know how this works?"
Cameron took a few moments of down time, then slowly took off the ring. “Okay, ai get it.”
"Don't worry, you can wear it after we're married…" Lilah said, then trailed off with a far away look in her eyes. "Married. Cameron, we're going to be married!" she laughed before leaning over to kiss him again.
Cameron grinned widely again and met her for the kiss. “I know! It’s wonderful!” He didn’t actually think he’d propose to her. On his birthday. In swimwear.
Lilah giggled, her grin just as wide as Cameron's, if not more so. "We need to pick a date. Should we have it sooner or later?"
“Sooner!” Cameron immediately chimed. He wanted to be married to the love of his life immediately.
"What about in a month? We can just do something small," Lilah suggested. "Unless you wanted something bigger?"
Cameron shook his head. “Something small sounds wonderful.” He pulled her into a careful hug and rested his head on hers.
"I love you so much," Lilah murmured, wrapping her free arm around him tightly.
Cameron planted a firm kiss on her head. “I love you too. Very much.”
Lilah sighed happily and buried her face in his neck. She had completely forgotten about Liam and Jess, as well as lunch. But, of course, her happiness didn't get to last long.
"Lilah? Cameron? Are you here?" her brother's voice drifted from the entryway. Cameron must've left the door unlocked after he helped her inside, and Liam must have guessed that.
Lilah groaned and tried to hide herself using Cameron, curling up the best she could.
Cameron gave a faint noise of discontempt and curled around Lilah the best he could. He hid his face in her hair and entwined their legs.
"Guys? Hey, what happened?" Liam called, his voice sounding closer than before.
Lilah sighed and pulled away from Cameron slightly. "They're back, and they're not going to leave us alone…"
Cameron pulled her back into him. “Maybe if we ignore them for long enough, they will.”
"Then we'd be terrible hosts, though," Lilah murmured into his shoulder.
“What makes us so terrible? It’s just my step-brother.” Cameron smiled a little.
"Brother-in-law," Lilah corrected him softly, relaxing back into him. "And ignoring our guests is what makes us terrible."
Cameron grunted. “Whatever. I’m tired. Still. Gimmie a break. Or to phrase it better, give us a break.”
