Vos did a slight double take. "The nerve…" he began, but quickly took a deep breath. There was a familiar burning in his forearm, warning him to calm down. He gave a slow sigh before running a hand through his hair. "Fine. Suit yourself," he said before turning his back on her
(was super close to doing this: "I'm not five, you dick head," she muttered under her breath.)
"Easy Vos. We can leave her be for now. Besides, what did you say earlier? Something about how this trip was supposed to be relaxing?" Kain also let his back turn to the girl, his cane thumping on the ground with his movements. He let one hand go forward and firmly squeeze Vos's arm in warning. "Unless you wanna do something a little more… fun…?" Kain insinuated darkly into Vos's ear.
"Out here?" Vos scoffed, seemingly not minding talking about this sort of thing in front of someone. "I'd get all dirty, and who wants to pick leaves out of unsavory places for the next week?" he said with a small, good-natured laugh
(gadammit Kain was talking about murder! IT WAS MURDER I SWEAR)
Sora nearly gagged, but instead turned her attention away from the men and continued to stare out into the open expanse of what lay beyond in the massive and expansive forest. It seemed quite easy to tune them out for her, seeing as that's what she did with most people who annoyed her. She began spinning her knife quickly with her fingers.
(we all know that they're the exact same thing to those two)

"Don't worry. You won't get too dirty if we do it right," Kain flashed a quick eye roll in Sora's direction, trying to signal Vos that he wanted to do something a bit… extreme. He could already feel heat rise to his face and his heartbeat quicken at the idea.
Vos simply chuckled and gave Kain's hand a squeeze before casting a glare in the bush child's direction. "Why don't we leave this one alone for now, hm? We can always find some other part of the woods to relax in."
Sora smirked at the comment about leaving. Well, that was a success. She didn't die today. But damn, those two seemed so arrogant, at least the older one did
Haven’s lips pursed as she opened her wings back up partly. This was getting a bit dangerous, and her vessel had been broken enough. She was not strong enough to heal her vessel at the moment.
Growing ever more intrigued with the men, Anastasia sends one of the smallest of her pack, barely larger than a terrier to go to them. Bounding along, the black dog with green eyes eagerly darts out of the brush and between Vos's legs, fluffy tail streaming behind it. Tongue lolling, the pup turns its gaze on the men, giving an exited yip before running behind the girl. Being a test, only a being with a knack for the supernatural, or simply an extraordinarily powerful one, would see the flickers of green and red nestled in the fur.
Vos, of course, quickly saw the flickers of color in the pup's fur. He glowered at the creature, and before it could get too far he grabbed it by the scruff. He scowled at it for a moment, seemingly analyzing it. But after a moment a small smile spread across his face, and he let go of Kain's hand to cradle the pup in his arms. "How cute," he cooed

Sora looked up, noticing the small pup get picked up by one of the men from earlier. The way he held the small creature at first made her scowl, but then turned away as soon as he began to hold it close to himself.
