"To save someone they love?" Fiona gave Azora a tight lipped smiled "At least, that's what I would sell my soul for."
"To save someone they love?" Fiona gave Azora a tight lipped smiled "At least, that's what I would sell my soul for."
"But you're not wholly human," Azora mumbled, "Humans are stupid don't understand what a soul is worth."
Fiona nodded slowly "I'm half human, so I hope my idea was at least close to what a full human would choose."
"So am I and I never would sell it," Azora pointed out, "Lose your soul and you lose your free will."
"Yeah, but it would be worth it if it saved someone I loved." Fiona countered and raised her eyebrow at Azora as if to say 'what do you say to that'.
"Love is fickle," Azora counted, "If you give up something like your soul to save someone; That love will turn bitter and with out a soul you'll more than likely kill them. So really you're not saving anyone and you're just condemning yourself."
Fiona shrugged "If i sold my soul for someone and turned on them the least they could do is kill me so I didn't have to suffer through killing them."
"Angel hearts," she did her best not to make it sound to harsh, "They bleed for everything and die for nothing." She looked up in the mirror and glared at her own reflection, "Not that demons aren't much better. Rotten hearts right to the core."
Fiona rolled her eyes "Angel hearts and Demon hearts, what about Human hearts? that is what we are talking about."
"They hurt and even though they do hurt so much, humans still don't listen it." Azora returned her glamor, "Humans are stupid because they don't know what they really want. They are worse than bleeding or rotten hearts."
(sry i gtg to bed gn!)
(Good night)
Fiona nodded "At least being half Angel or Demon lets us see that." she continued to lean against the door and watch Azora.
"Does it really?" Azora asked a little bit more sarcastic than she intended. As she moved out of the room to find some dry clothes. "Every side has flaws and they don't cancel each other out."
Fiona sighed "Well, that was a nice talk, i'm just going to go eat before we go hunt down this deal maker.." she walked out of the bathroom and went to find the kitchen.
There was nothing nice about that talk, Azora thought opening up one of the bed rooms and started digging through the dress for new clothes. Ended up finding a large t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I just hope I didn't burn a bridge.
Fiona started humming to herself as she grabbed a pack of instant oatmeal and started boiling water for it. She sighed and shook her head why did I even agree to this….I knew I wouldn't get along with anyone here..
Parker backed up, putting distance between herself and MJ. "Do you think they're done yet?" she asked.
MJ shrugged. "Let's go inside anyway. I've always been curious about the resurrection process." She patted out a small spark that had landed on her jeans, and headed inside.
"Oh sure, who isn't?" Parker replied sarcastically, following MJ inside. She wandered through the house, looking for anyone or anywhere that may have a place to drown people. "Hello?" Parker called tentatively.
(bump. also I edited my post and added more to it)
(yeah, i'm just waiting for either fiona or azora to respond right now)
(I can respond)
Fiona smiled at Parker "Hi!" she continued making her oatmeal, trying to not show how much she didn't fit in.
Parker walked into the kitchen, finding Fiona making oatmeal. “Hi,” she said quietly, smiling and walking over to her. “What are you making?”
"Oatmeal, you want some?" Fiona glanced at Parker and gave her a fake smile.
Azora dropped calmly on to the couch in fresh dry clothing. She could still feel the affect of having died on her body. Her limbs moved slow, mussels were stiff, and breathing was still shallow. She knew it was because at lest several million cells were killed or damaged by the process, her lungs were still recovering from salt water, and her body needed time to get over the rigor mortis that had started to set in.
"Oatmeal, you want some?" Fiona glanced at Parker and gave her a fake smile.
(omg I just realized I sounded like a caveman)
"If there's enough," Parker said, looking at Fiona. Something seemed slightly off. "Azora just died, right? Was that successful? And do you know where she is? I feel like I should take a look at her."
Fiona nodded towards the couch "She's on the couch and there will be enough oatmeal."
"Oh great. I would love some then." Parker smiled. "Thanks." She walked over to the couch where Azora was sitting, looking drained. "So I don't know how many times you've died before," she said, standing in front of her, "but I'd like to take a look at you and make sure everything is alright, if you don't mind."
Fiona nodded and started to scoop two bowels of oatmeal, quietly listening to Parker.
