"Shall we?" Teivel said, pulling out a few bills.
"Shall we?" Teivel said, pulling out a few bills.
Sym smiled and nodded his head. "Yup!"
Teivel walked in, sitting on a stool at the counters. He waited for the chefs to finish their business, examining the menu.
Sym sat next to him, looking over his shoulder to the menu. He wrinkled his nose California rolls? What in Posidens name is that? He thought as he read the rest of the menu.
Teivel scoffed at the California rolls.
"Let me get some Ika please, friend." He said to the chef.
Sym tilted his head til he finally found something that looked familiar.
"Can I get a seaweed salad?" He asked the chefs politely.
The chefs nodded at them and left.
"So, what do you remember about yourself?" Teivel asked.
"Well, I like seafood and the sea. I figured that out from my sweatshirt. My last name is Arter, I used to live by an ocean?"
"Oh…" Teivel said. "That's wonderful!" He folded up his menu gingerly.
"What about you?" He asks cheerfuly.
"I remember… Loss… I had an obnoxious brother named Leonardo!, I remember… A warm feeling."
"I don't like warm, I prefer cold and dark." He says.
"Me too." Teivel said, receiving his food. "I remember the smell of fire, and saltwater."
Sym shudders. "I hate fire." He said as his food was set infront of him.
"I get it." Teivel said too.
"Yeah, let's change the subject."
"So… Do you have any idea where or when we are?" Teivel asked, courteously, smiling with his eyes.
"Nope!" He said cheerfully, happy the subject has been changed.
"Me either." Teivel started on his roll of sushi.
"All I know is that this place has good seaweed." He says, his mouth full of his food.
"That's true." Teivel said, starting on another roll.
"That went fast." Sym muttered, his large bowl now empty.
"Yeah." Teivel said, starting to smell smoke. "Oh, this must be a sushi and grill." He wondered.
Sym wrinkled his nose, he may not remember a bunch, but he knew he hated smoke. A lot.
Immediately the chefs started panicking. One came out yelling.
"Fire! Fire!" And Teivel wiced.
When the word fire was yelled, Sym kinda puffed up like a cat. His hair was standing up and his eyes looked frantic.
Teivel stopped panicking to comfort Sym, stepping in front of him.
"How does a sushi place catch fire?" He wondered aloud.
"No, damn clue." Sym hissed, still looking around frantically.
Teivel winced again as the fire became visible. He tried to shield it from Sym's eyes, knowing he hated fire, but the smoke alarms went off.
"Nope!" Sym exclaimed as he jumped up and walked out of the place.
"Damn fire, I was going to ask for more seaweed salad." He grumbled/
