"I have to grab Dominic's things" she said.

"Okay, but be quick. Someone would've heard that gunshot and called the police. If their not already here, they will be soon." He told her as he pulled her up, his arms still around her.

"You have to let me Go" she said.

"What- oh! Oh." He took his arms from around her. He knew how she felt. The numbness of what had happened, what she was going to do. It was all settling in. "Nicky…" he started, taking her hand.

Nicky turned towards william" Yeah" she said.

"I know what your feeling. I understand…" He said. "I'm not going anywhere. I'll be here, I don't care what your dad said. Nicky." He put a hand on her cheek. "I love you, and I'm not losing you."

Nicky smiled " I love you too" she said gently.

He lifted her hand to his lips, kissing it softly. "I love you more." He then let her hand go and took a step back. "I'll go check downstairs while you get your things together." He left the room.

Nicky nodded and went off down the hallway to get her things.

He checked all the windows. It was oddly quiet. He wryly wished that he had been so lucky his first time. He then headed back upstairs. "All clear." He told her.

Nicky had a bag slinged over her shoulder" Alright then" she said.

Will nodded as he went back downstairs. He opened the doors Nicky and closed them behind them.

Nicky walked out the door then turned around towards will as he closed the door.

He looked at her. "What wrong?" he asked her, concern blooming in his eyes.

¨Oh nothing¨ Nicky said with confidence.

William was sure he believed the answer, but her wasn't going to press her. He shrugged and made his way to the car. He opened the door for her and smiled.

Nicky slowly got in the car and waited for William to get in.

William got in and turned to her. "Are we going home?" he asked. He'd go where ever she wanted to, all she had to do was say the word.

¨Yeah Ï´m tired¨ she said as she leaned back in her chair.

He leaned over, kissed her head, and nodded. The drive home was quiet, no by his choice, it just happened. Once they got home, he turned off the car and got out. He waited for Nicky, following the same steps of opening the door and extending his hand.

Nicky grabbed will´s hand to pull herself up and out of the car.

Wrapping his arm around her, he pulled her close, leading her downstairs and into the living room. Duke looked up from where he laid on the ground next to Dominic. He barked and raced towards them. "Hey, old man…" William chuckled as he crouched down to pet the dog.

Dominic howled and wagged his tail as he ran towards her. Nicky crouched aswell to pet her dog.

He went to the kitchen, Duke in tow. He filled his bowl and set it down in front of him. He got another for Dominic.

Nicky picked up Dominic and followed William. Dominic was nicky´s baby.

"He's really cute." Will said, jutting his head in Dominic's direction. "Makes me remember when Duke was a baby…"

Nicky put dominic down who flopped on the ground and whined as Nicky walked to the sink flipping her hand in the air which made water come out of the faucet . Nicky put Dominic´s water bowl under the water which she got from her back pack and put his bowl in front of him on the floor after turning off the Faucet.

William's eyes widened and he smiled. "You were holding out on me, beautiful!" he exclaimed. He feigned hurt as he pouted.

Nicky looked up and walked up to william and leaned up to whisper in his ear ´ I Can do alot more than that¨ she whispered.

"Oooh~" he pretended to shiver. "Beautiful, don't say things like that. I am a pure young man." He turned his head away.
