Cameron laughed with her. “Key word: Mostly.” He laughed again.
Cameron laughed with her. “Key word: Mostly.” He laughed again.
"Oh, hush, you," Lilah chuckled, swatting at him playfully. "You fell just as much as I did."
Cameron grabbed her hand, laughing. “Not as much as you did! I mostly hung onto the wall, though.”
"Exactly! You cheated, and, therefore, I win," Lilah giggled, intertwining their fingers.
Cameron rolled his eyes. “I was saving my butt from a sore evening.”
"And yet, you didn't save your girlfriend from that fate," Lilah sighed, clicking her tongue and shaking her head in mock disappointment.
Cameron laughed. “You chose to slide out in the middle of the lake. You breached the point of no return.”
"Scaredy cat," Lilah laughed, rolling onto her side so she could poke him with her free hand.
Cameron rolled his eyes and laid on his back. “Yes, I am a scaredy cat.”
Lilah scooted a bit closer to him to peck him on the cheek. "But you're my scaredy-cat, so it's okay."
Cameron looked at her, looking amused. He pecked her back. “Well, now I feel much better.”
"Good. You should," Lilah said with a light laugh.
Cameron laughed with her and half-closed his eyes comfortably. He inhaled and exhaled softly, feeling relaxed.
(Okay so I have a really tacky idea. It’s like really bad but I think it would help move stuff along. But it’s like
Bad
So don’t yell at me when I tell you)
(I doubt it's really that bad. What is it?)
Lilah sighed and rolled onto her back again, smiling at the sky. She put her free arm over her eyes to keep some of the brightness of the sun out of them.
(Okay. It has to do with Jess so just haaaang on with me. So you know how a lot of bachelorettes will go off and do crazy s**t before they get married? So I was thinking maybe Jess catches some interest in Cameron (coz drama) and he’s like, “No?” and she gets all upset and huffy? that’s all i have rn but .p.)
Cameron squeezed her hand in his, stretching out again. “Did we get any lunch?”
(It would be a good idea if that was Jess' personality, but she's really more of the quiet type. She wouldn't do that.
…My mom just swore at my sister… She never swears…That was scary…)
"Um… No?" Lilah said, turning to give him a sheepish smile.
(Yea that’s what I thought ._.
Oof. My parents cuss at me all the time. It’s wonnnnderful.)
Cameron looked at her. “Great job. Now we get to go back early.” He smiled.
(Yeah, my mom never swears, though. And she basically screamed at my sister, who screamed back, but my mom rarely ever screams at us. So it was literally scary.)
"I guess that's one way to put it," Lilah chuckled, rolling her eyes a bit.
(That’s weird. Did you find out why?)
Cameron booped her nose. “It’s a wonderful way to put it.”
(Well, they were right below me, and we have thin walls and a tiny house, so I could hear them pretty well… Something about my sister having an attitude or something and my mom was annoyed with it. Somehow it escalated into a screaming match…)
Lilah scrunched up her nose and held back a laugh. "Nooooo… No booping my nose!"
(Oh yea. That happens a lot. Just everywhere.)
Cameron booped her scrunched up nose again. “Boop! Boop!”
(With three female's in my house, life can be quite… Interesting… And emotional.)
"Noooo!" Lilah laughed, burying her face in her arm.
(Oooof. Our dad is the only male in the house.
I wish he wasn’t. sigh
To clarify I hate my dad.)
Cameron laughed and pulled her into a hug. “Yesssss! Nose boops!”
(I haven't actually been in good contact with my dad since I was 12, I think… I'm going to be 18 in three months… The last time I saw him was at a gas station, and it was totally on accident.
But I have my stepdad, who's not usually too bad. He can be really funny.)
"No nose boops!" Lilah argued, burying her face in his shoulder to hide her grin.
(Dude wow. My best friend hasn’t ever met her dad. She’s had a lot of stepdads tho)
Cameron giggled and squeezed her closer. “Yes nose boops!”
(That's sad… This is my first and, I hope, only stepdad.)
"Nooooo…" Lilah groaned, choking back laughter.
Cameron let her go and looked down at her. Then booped her nose rebelliously.
Lilah glared at him, though her eyes glittered and her lips twitched as if she was holding back a smile. "You're not very nice sometimes."
Cameron grinned. “I know. Especially when you’re on the brink of laughter.”
Boop
"Stahhhhp!" Lilah said, covering her face again as she let out a sound like she had almost laughed.
