Adrien cooed a little and snuck a kiss onto Mikhail's lips. "Don't thank me for telling the truth. You deserve all the compliments I can hand out."
Adrien cooed a little and snuck a kiss onto Mikhail's lips. "Don't thank me for telling the truth. You deserve all the compliments I can hand out."
Mikhail smiled slightly at the kiss but kept blushing furiously. "No, I really don't. Trust me." He mumbled, still looking around everywhere but at Adrien since he was too shy.
"Well I'm your boyfriend and I say you do. Believe me." Adrien replied. Mikhail deserved to be happy, there was no doubt in his mind about it. Fuck anyone who disagreed.
Mikhail's lips twitched into a small smile for a second. "But I let my parents die, I wasn't able to save them." He mumbled quietly, staring at the couch. He still felt very guilty about that, he had always thought of himself as a waste of space and time.
Adrien felt his eyes widen in shock. How did he even respond to that!? "How did they die?" He curled himself into Mikhail, wrapping him up in a hug. "Shit! Was that insensitive? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"It wasn't insensitive at all. They were murdered in front of me and I was raised by my uncle who hated me…" Mikhail muttered, the blush on his face long gone.
Adrien petted Mikhail on the head softly, trying to comfort him. "Baby, I know that's really tragic and horrendous, but it wasn't your fault. How could you have stopped it?"
"I-I don't know. I could have something else and might have been able to save them." Mikhail mumbled, not looking up at Adrien when he petted his head. "Okay, we should probably stop talking about that," He muttered, glancing at Adrien and smiling slightly at him.
Adrien kissed Mikhail lightly on the head, stroking a hand up and down his boyfriend's back. "It's not your fault, Mikhail. It's the person who killed them's fault. They're the one who killed your parents, not you."
Mikhail shrugged slightly. "I guess so." He said, trying to think of thinks he could talk about to change the subject. Just then, Leon peeped his head outside to see if he should come in or not and decided against it, so he went back in his room a small smirk on his face.
"Okay." Adrien smiled at Mikhail. His poor boyfriend probably wanted to change the subject. "Let's talk about something else." But what was there to talk about? Cats? Ice cream flavors? Books? "Uh… dream date. Go."
"Wait what? Oh-ummmm-I don't know, a concert? or an escape room or something like that." Mikhail spluttered out. He was glad Adrien had changed the subject and sighed quietly.
"Oh, escape rooms sound like fun! Those are the ones where you have to solve all the puzzles to unlock the door, right?" Adrien had managed to curl up in Mikhail's lap like a content cat. An escape room would be a pretty cool date. Maybe they could try to go to one later.
"Yep, I've wanted to do an escape room for the longest time." Mikhail replied, blushing slightly when Adrien curled up in his lap.
"They seem really fun! I'd do one but they kind of scare me. Just… the idea of getting suck in a room without being able to quickly leave freaks me out." Adrien shrugged, pushing down the knot of nerves in his stomach. He hated getting stuck in places because his brain always made him think he was on the verge of an attack and would totally die if he didn't get out asap.
"Makes sense." Mikhail replied, glancing at Adrien and pecking his lips. He figured he would do stuff like that way more often now.
Adrien gave him a gentle peck back. And then pecked another one onto his cheek. And another. "It'd still be fun, I think. The only problem is how expensive they are."
"True, but I may or may not have a friend who works at an escape room place thing-y." Mikhail said, blushing slightly when Adrien pecked his cheek.
"Really! We should try and go to one." As long as he knew it would be safe, Adrien would love to go to an escape room. "They do themed escape rooms, right?"
"Yep, I think so." Mikhail answered. He had only visited Kelton when he was at work a few times.
"What kind of theme are you looking for? I saw one that was pirate themed and that looks pretty cool." Adrien wondered if they had really silly stupid theme rooms. Unicorn rainbow themed escape rooms. He'd love to see one of those.
(lmaooo, yesss, that would be great)
Mikhail shrugged. "I don't know, I'm fine with anything." He answered, looking at Adrien and smiling slightly.
(That would be beautiful.)
"No. Not a real escape room, just like… a hypothetical escape room." Adrien gestured vaguely in front of him, to illustrate.
(yes, btw, I gtg, srryyy)
"What do you mean?" Mikhail asked, tilting his head slightly to the right in confusion. He always did it naturally when he was confused.
(Bye! ttyl :(
"Like, if you could go to any escape room in the world, which one would you choose." Adrien hoped that would be a serviceable explanation. "I changed my mind, I'd go to one with a fantasy world."
(back for a bit)
"Umm, maybe one we're investigators or something." Mikhail answered with a slight shrug.
(Hello :)
"Oh, that sounds cool! Like.. we're investigating a crime scene or something?" That sounded amazingly cool. A creepy room they were supposed to investigate, finding clues and solving riddles until they got out or a suspect walked in on them. Adrien absolutely loved the idea of that. Creepy but fun.
(hai)
"Yep. Or we could be investigating someone's house because they're the main suspect or something like that." Mikhail answered, his eyes shining slightly because of the light.
"Oh! That's so cool! And the suspect like… left for lunch or something and we need to look over everything before they get back." That sounded so freaking cool. Adrien hoped that was a real thing because it sounded rad as hell.
"Yesssss, this sounds so cool." Mikhail said. It sounded so cool, he had always been in interested in things that most of the people around him weren't interested in.
