"The castle's big. It's easy to avoid people. I've learned that."
"Pardon me but I don't know this place like you do." Enyln narrowed her eyes and forced her voice to be sweet, "I'd get lost, and who knows what could happen."
"The door's that way if you want to leave." He said bluntly, pointing to the front doors.
"Trust me, I would if I could." Enyln sighed longingly looking at the doors. Running away seemed like a great option, but at the same time it scared her.
"Look it wasn't my decision for my mother to die and for you to come here so we just avoided each other that would be great."
"Nor was it mine for my father." Enyln took a moment to regain her cool, "but fine. That seems like a wonderful idea."
"Good." He answered, turning away from her and walking out the door and out to the gardens.
Enyln sighed and decided to explore.
(Sorry its so short.)

Sawyer sighed as he walked out to the gardens behind the castle. He sat down on a little bench secluded by trees and listened to the noises around him.
Enyln wondered for a long time. Only going into rooms where the door was already open. Giving nods to servants and polite smiles to anyone who seemed important.
Sawyer was reminded of his mother as he sat on the bench, wishing she was here right now.
(I'm so sorry but I'm at a loss as to what to do atm.)
(ye maybe they could have to have some sort of ceremony for the new queen and Enyln or something? If you want we could time skip to that)
(Sure! I just don't necessary know how to write something like that. Is there a specific way you'd like it to go?)
(I can make it easy to follow along and respond to don't worry)
A couple hours later Sawyer and Enyln were called inside and into the main room by the king. "Tomorrow we will be having a presenting ceremony for Enyln and the queen in honor of their arrival." Sawyer rolled his eyes as the king continued. "I'll explain it and tell you tomorrow how it will happen. Just get a good night's rest. Oh and you will also be fitted tomorrow at eight."
(Thanks and sorry.)
Enyln nodded her head, "thank you your highness, your kindness is deeply appreciated." She neatly folded her hands infrount of herself. A small, forced, smile lighting her lips the same way it had that very morning.
(np feel free to ask anything)
Sawyer snorted at her act and walked back towards the stairs.
Enyln noticed his snort and quickly shot a glare his direction. She gave the King a small polite nod and quickly stormed after Sawyer. "What was that?"
"That was me laughing at your totally fake appreciation and smile."
"fake? Pardon me but that was very much real. I'm not a brat like you."
"Okay, okay.." He continued smiling as he walked up to his room.
Enyln rolled her eyes, "so, dose your father throw parties for all the women he meets?" She laced her tone with poision, aiming for a weak spot.
"And what might you mean by that?" He asked quietly and calmly, stopped in front of her so she couldn't see his face.
"Well I am assuming that your mother wasn't royalty." Enyln narrowed her eyes and let a slight smile cross her lips.
“And what does that have to do with anything?” He growled, still not facing her.
Enyln shrugged, "did your dad throw her a party too?"
“My mother and father met when they were young. They fell in love soon after and got married. My father’s older brother was king during all this and then he got killed so the throne was transferred to my father. So you have no right to insult my family.” He said quickly, his voice growing quiet.
Enyln was take back by how his voice got quiet. She opened her mouth to apologize but quickly stopped. She was trying to put a wall up, one he'd never dare to cross. "Maybe not." She said quietly.
He stood there for a second before replying. “Definitely not.” Sawyer walked up the rest of the stairs and up to his room.
Enyln sighed before making her way up to her room. The apology still on her lips, waiting to be said.
