"She seems to like Insanity a lot."
(continue my fren)
Pax nodded. “If she lets him plop her into a pocket, yeah.”
"Do you think she's his?"
Pax frowned. “We could ask.”
"Insanity or the girl?"
Pax rolled his eyes at her. “Insanity.”
"She might be able to talk. You never know." She replied, shrugging.
“She probably wouldn’t be able to say much.l
"She's probably about the same age as Lila I would guess, maybe a little younger."
Pax shrugged. “Still. Lila can’t say as much as… say… Cameron can.”
"Wait what does that have to do with anything? Especially considering Lila is two and Cameron is..a lot older."
Pax huffed. “Exactly!! Cameron has a wider range of words and vocabulary, such as Insanity!”
"Okay…?" North frowned a little bit. "I'm still kind of confused what that had to do with anything."
“It’s… it’s an anology. Nevermind.”
"I don't do well with that kind of stuff. You should know that." She laughed a little.
Pax laughed gently too. “I actually try to be a little smarter and it comes across as pointless to you.”
"Remember that next time you're about to say something smart."
Pax chuckled and booped the smol’s nose. “I’ll do that.”
"Oh my god I understand now!" She said suddenly, laughing.
Pax rolled his eyes. “You should’ve the moment I connected them.”
"Yeah but I didn't. And I do now so i'm not that stupid."
Pax shook his head with a sigh. “Anyway…”
North laughed a little but sighed. “Do you think M is going to let Insanity help him?”
“Insanity probably isn’t going to let him have a choice. You saw the look Insanity had on his face when he first saw M. It’s a lot worse than what he expected.”
“We should’ve come sooner..”
Pax crossed his arms. “Perhaps.”
The smol in North’s arms cooed loudly, kicking her legs.
North pat the smol’s head and sat down with it, leaning against the wall.
Pax watched her sit and sat down next to her. The smol wiggled out of North’s grasp and started to wander around on little legs, occasionally falling over.
