Ashton was the first person out of his AP Chemistry class and waited for his twin to catch up to him. "That's great. Why do I have to go?" He asked and rolled his eyes, continuing his walk to his locker to put his backpack away. He hadn't gotten any homework today so he didn't need to take it home.
"You're like my moral support and maybe you'll end up enjoying it." She said, leaning on the locker beside him, waiting for him to put his stuff away. She felt her phone vibrate with an alarm for when the club started. "We gotta go now." She slid her phone back into her back pocket and got off of the locker.
"Fine." Ashton groaned and slammed his locker shut, following after Kennedy to the club. He didn't think he'd enjoy it and he just wanted to go home, but he'd never just leave his sister here at school. Though he didn't want to go, he knew he should as she supported him at what he liked to do so it was only fair of him to support her want to be a part of this new club.
(I think now would be a good time to say that they've always had the powers but never knew that they were there. Also, coincidentally, the rest of the people in the club are also twins and didn't know others would be trying out.)
Kennedy opened the door and saw three groups of two already there. Clueless, she sat in one of the chairs at an empty desk and placed her backpack on the floor near her. She patted the seat next to her for Ash to sit in. "Stop being so grumpy."
"Stop being so peppy." Ashton fired back and sat down with a huff. "I just want to go home. When will this meeting be over?" He asked, trying not to sound as grumpy and tired as he felt.
"Around 6." She answered, ignoring his previous comment. She waited as the thing started by looking around the room, seeing the founders of the club move things from place to place.
"Why is it so looooong?!" Ashton whined, slumping in his chair and crossing his arms. He looked around at the other groups of people and noticing that everyone else looked excited to be here and he groaned at the sight of everyone looking so happy.
"It's only two hours." She deadpanned, watching as they set up the front of the room. When she finally looked at the other people, she saw that there were two sets of identical twins and one fraternal of girls. "Hey, Ash, there are other twins here!" She said in a stage whisper.
"Okay? Is that what this is? A club for twins? I thought this was some kind of 'find your destiny' type-thing." Ashton asked, interested now in the fact that they weren't the only twins in the room.
Kennedy looked back to her brother, still confused. "I just found out about this right now. What is this club really about?" She asked herself, seeing that the founders wen't behind closed curtains.
(Once the other set of twins come, we will start having them find out that they have powers, if you want to add or change anything to the plot, just tell me)
Giving up on her brother, Lyra walked into the clubroom with a huff. There were already a few people inside, who she greeted with a quick "Sup?" and a nod of her head. She wondered if they were the founders, and quickly tacked on "So what's this club all about?"
(Not Kennedy POV)
A brunette girl pointed to the poster that was hanging in the classroom when she heard the other girl enter the classroom. The poster looked like something you would see in a psychic shop.
The founders began their speech about what it was about. "…and so this club will be eye-opening for most of you since you were chosen at birth to eventually come here today."
(Kennedy POV)
Kennedy looked slightly amused at the prospect that she was meant to be here but let it slide. She continued watching their opening, slightly leaning back in her chair.
Lyra tilted her head. Chosen at birth to be here? She knew her parents had moved to this neighborhood so she and 'rulean could attend this high school- it was one of the best in the city- but this was a bit much. "Uh, okay? What do you mean by that?"

Mr. Covington looked up to the person that just asked a question. It was a girl by herself not with a twin like the others. I must have miscalculated things. He thought in his head before answering her question. "Well, of course you all have destinies that are waiting for you and it starts at birth, you guys were lucky enough to be born in your body for what you are about to find out."
(Kennedy)
Kennedy looked to her brother, suddenly second-guessing the club. "This sounds a bit like hocus pocus to me." She whispered to her brother subtly. He sounded like he was going to invite them into some sort of child-sacrificing cult and give blood donations to some sort of god.
Lyra shrugged. "If you say so" Her voice warbled in the middle, showing her disbelief plainly. She wished 'Rulean would just get here already. She felt kind of weird without her brother. Like he was supposed to be here. It was clear this was a 'twins only' type place.
"This club sounds sketchy to me and that's saying something." Ashton laughed quietly before becoming serious again, "I don't think we should be here."
"Yea, let's go." Kennedy said, slinging her bag over her shoulders. As she stood to go to the door the founder interrupted her.
"Excuse me, Kennedy, you aren't allowed to leave."
The first thought that entered her mind was that who does this guy think he is to not let me go. And the second was, how in the world does he know my name? She still headed for the doors but when she went to open it, it was locked from the inside. She looked back at Mr. Covington, a glare on her face. "I already told you, you're not allowed to leave." He said, ending it with a smile on his face.
"Hey! You can't force us to stay here!" Ashton stood up and yelled at Mr. Covington and walked over to the door, pulling out his phone. "You can't stop me from leaving. You don't have that power." He growled at the man as he dialed his friend's number and put the phone to his ear.
Lyra shrugged. "If you say so" Her voice warbled in the middle, showing her disbelief plainly. She wished 'Rulean would just get here already. She felt kind of weird without her brother. Like he was supposed to be here. It was clear this was a 'twins only' type place.
Cerulean sprinted to the room where the club was. He quickly sent his sister a text be right there! and walked to the door. He fixed his hair and his ‘jock’ style before knocking
Lyra pulled out her phone excitedly when it beeped, the message from her brother causing her to smile even in the overall weirdness of the situation. youd better. ive been here 4ever she texted back. She added the guy running the club is kinda crazy. might wanna bring some pepper spray or something.
Cerulean laughed at the message I have the mini bear mace keychain you gave me 4 my birthday. he replied back
(Heading to bed. Night.)
perf. come in then, don't think the door's locked She turned off her phone and paid attention to the world around her again. She felt just the tiniest bit more secure now that 'Rulean was coming. She'd always felt more grounded with him around.
Cerulean barged in “I’m here.” He announced and took a seat beside his sister “hello annoying.” He smirked and put an arm around her shoulders

"Finally, the last person has arrrived, now we can start." Mr. Covington said, bringing a large box in front of him. "You guys know Harry Potter, right?"

When the door opened for another student to enter, Kennedy tried to go back to open the door, but it shut to fast. She heard a lock click from the outside so she knew she was trapped in here no matter what. She walked back to her brother who was calling someone. "Your cell phone service won't work in here, there is no reception in buildings away from the main school building. Let's just sit down and see what he has to say. Once he starts drawing alchemy circles or bring out some dolls, we are gonna try everything to leave."
Ashton gave up on his phone and sat down with a huff, swearing under his breath. "I knew we shouldn't have come here." He grumbled to his twin.

Kennedy nodded at Mr. Covington when she went to sit down, trying to move the thing along and so they could get out of the place faster. She watched as he took out some papers from thte box and four wands. What the heck?
Lyra raised her hand because this dude was definitely a teacher- even though he didn't seem to be teaching anything- and she had a question.
