The door made a sound and all of them jumped. Two voices came out from behind it, "Felix?"

Vera’s eyes snapped open and she scrambled to hide, nerves buzzing in anticipation.

Auden busted open the door and Ault went in. They looked around the dark room, "Felix?"

Vera crouched begin the table, glad for the tablecloth. She grinned.

Tay jumped out, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" the rest of their voices chimed in as they all jumped out from where they were hiding and Loilai flicked on the lights.

Vera yelled with the rest as she came out from behind the table, grinning.

Audun jumped back and Ault grinned, running over. They held out a plastic bag, "Is this why you guys made us bring our swimsuits? Felix?" Felix grinned and shrugged.

Vera came over. “Happy Birthday!”, she grinned.

Audun smiled, "Thanks, Tay's girlfriend."

Vera struggled not to go bright red at this. “Um.. you’re welcome.”

Ault came over to Audun, cake on his fingers and smeared on his face. "They have CAKE." Audun laughed and waved a goodbye to Vera, letting himself be pulled around by the rest of them.

Vera smiled from a distance, not wanting to interfere.

Tay jogged over to Vera, jumping up and down, "Let's have fun?!"

Vera returned his excited grin.. “To the pool?”

"Yes!" Tay cannonballed into the pool, laughing and yelling.

Vera sprinted after, leaping off the diving board and doing a front flip, surfacing beside Tay.

Tay smiled, "Vera, I propose a race! How much do you bet I'll win?"

Vera shrugged. “You set the price.”, she grinned.

"If I win, you have to go on a date with me." Tay winked at Vera and smirked.

Vera’s face went bright red. “But—what about the arcade thing?! Someone saw, they could—“, she whispered, but Tay cut her off.

"It's all going to be okay." Tay put a finger to his lips.

Sounds like a lot of fun!!)

Vera shook her head frantically. “No— you don’t understand. You’re risking it just by talking to me right now.”
