Kylie rolled her eyes. Few people knew how fast she could actually run - when she ran at full speed, her feet literally only lightly brushed the ground. Sprinting on her toes, she leap-ran until she was ahead of him, her adidas pounding the cement.
Hawkin smiled when Kylie past him. "Oh so you're the Flash now?" Hawkin lengthened his strides until he matched her pace.
It was like flying, running that fast. Kylie's feet skimmed the asphalt ever so lightly as her small stature led her to victory behind the motel.
Hawkin sighed. Kylie had beaten him by only a few feet. He stopped, and steadied his breathing. "What are you going to do since I lost?"
Kylie shrugged. "I hadn't thought about that."
Hawkin just shrugged. "Whatever you want to do. You could burn me with a star and I would be fine."
"No." She grumbled, shaking her head. "We'll see." She righted herself.
Hawkin smiled. "Ok. Now, let me take a running jump to get to our floor. I'll have to hit it just right to get the momentum I need…"
"Alright." Kylie grinned and stood back. "Be careful."
Hawkin rubbed his hands together and backed up. "You know me. Always careful!"
She rolled her eyes. "Just go."
Hawkin mocked a salute, and ran and vaulted and hit it just a little too much. He vaulted over his balcony, and landed on the cement with a thud.
"You alright?" Kylie looked up. "How will I get up?"
Hawkin brushed himself off. "Yeah I'm fine. As for you, hold on." Hawkin stepped back over the balcony rail, and he squatted, and he slid his legs in between the metal. He locked his legs in place, and leaned down. "You just jump, and I'll do the rest. I got you."
"Hmmm." Kylie tilted her head and jumped high.
Hawkin caught her hand, and pulled her up. He got to her waist, and lifted her up high enough to where she could get over the balcony railing. Then, he pulled himself up and over as well.
Kylie grinned at his solution, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
Hawkin smiled. "This is where being tall actually comes in handy. Now, I'm going to go take a shower, and get all the dirt I've collected off of me, and after I finish, if you want to try and braid my hair, go for it."
"Alright." Kylie grinned and kissed him quickly before hopping back into her room.
Hawkin was pleasantly shocked. He smiled as Kylie walked out. He then went and looked for a spare change of clothes, and to his surprise, he found some pjs with the tag still on them. He smiled to himself. "Sweet…" Hawkin went into the bathroom, and took a shower.
(I gtg for the night… Tomorrow!)
(k bye)
Kylie flopped onto the bed, waiting for Hawkin.
Hawkin finished up, and put on the spare pjs. He towel dried his hair, and made sure that it wouldn't make a mess. He walked out of his room, and knocked on the door to Kylie's room.
Hawkin walked in and sat on the floor. "Well here I am. You can braid this mess of my hair. I'll just be sitting here, watching tv ya know. It's been ages since I watched tv… Ooohhhh I wonder if they have a phone charger here…."
“I think I saw one over there.” Kylie jerked her head in a direction.
Hawkin laughed. "Yeah boy! I can charge my phone and get service!" He walked over, and plugged his phone in. He then returned to his spot on the floor in front of Kylie.
"So." She inclined her head.
Hawkin tilted his head back at Kylie. "So…. What?"
