Kaliyah made it back to the house, picking up a few things from the traps. She opened the door just as the sun peaked through the mountain tops. She walked inside and started looking through the notes she took at the war meetings.
Phoenix was sitting in her final war meeting. Her braces already attached to her legs and fully armed in armor for the upcoming battle. Her free hand idly played with her scythe as the details were bored out. Her sister wasn't to take part in the battle, but Phoenix most definitely was. The young princess wouldn't have been surprised if a few of the Sun generals attempted to kill her on the battlefield. Plenty were displeased that if anything were to happen Phoenix would take the throne.
Will snuck back into his room just in time. as soon as he got in a maid came in and tossed armour at him and told him to get downstairs. So he quickly put on the armour and grabbed his sword then ran down the stairs. He was met with dozens of top soldiers and his father down there, all preparing to get ready to go and defend the kingdom.
Kaliyah was looking through the notes when she realized something ‘the Sun Kingdom will try to attack stealthly sometime during mid morning, while the Moon kingdom will split their forces in two to launch an attack from behind.’ she read
Phoenix was walking through the forest towards Moon. It was so strange being on a more stealth like attack. She felt her legs try to give out many times, but still she stood strong. Eyes seemed to be on her constantly, the weak princess, the rebel princess, the one who would lead us to ruin. For most their eyes were forward, for the princess her eyes were everywhere.
Will followed behind their group. They had offered to give him a horse like the king and chief of the guard but he wanted to walk. They walked towards the border and stood their ground. Half of the group had stayed behind ready to charge in at anything.
Kaliyah quickly ran out the door on her horse trying to alert bus th kingdoms what was happening. If she could get there in time, many lives would be lost today.
Sun arrived at the Mon's border. Phoenix could see the army standing there. It was less than she had thought, what was the kingdom up to? She was the first to step from the trees into the enemies line of sight, her scythe branded. Let it be known to her people that she wasn't weak.
Kaliyah urged her horse as fast as it could go. Trying to make A 4 hour ride turn into 2
Will stood by his father the king waiting. But he just didn't want to be here. He kinda just wanted to go to bed.
Phoenix watched as the rest of her army crept from the forest. One of the older generals ran towards Moon's army starting the battle officially. Along with it and arrow to her back blocked with her scythe. Clearly whoever had shot that was under that general's direction. It was time to fight, for peace not this unneeded war.
Will was pushed down as a few ran forward ready to fight. He hit the ground and watched them run forward and fight.
Kaliyah kept riding as fast as she could go. She heard a loud bark and saw shard running beside her.
(I think I'm going to leave this RP because I don't think my character is really needed )
(Whose your character?)
(Sorry but
*who’s)
(Where’s Nore?)
Phoenix watched as the chaos began. She took a deep breath before charging in. the spring in her braces lightening her step and her scythe moved gracefully as the people of Moon fell. She hated this, hated how easily she was ready to shed blood.
Kaliyah reached the battleground only to see she was too late and there were so many bodies littering the ground
Will got up slowly took out his sword. He ran to hide behind a tree. he really did not want to be here.
Phoenix spotted Kaliyah and slowly made her way towards Kaliyah. Then she saw Will cowering behind a tree, ha!
He saw a person running towards his tree and he kicked them then stabbed them. He walked forward and took cover behind another tree. Not wanting to stay out in the open as a direct Target.
“Oh no, I should have told them, we could have stopped this.” She muttered, not expecting anyone to be there
"Told us what?" Phoenix asked. She had gotten close enough to hear. Her scythe had a thick layer of blood on it, while her armor and face had splotches. She looked no worse for wear.
“Phoenix? What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be down there?” Kaliyah stuttered
"Told us what?" Phoenix asked again with slight urgency, "I'm here because I saw you. I'm here because I don't want to be doing this gods be damned fighting. So tell me what!?"
Will looked and saw Phoenix and kaliyah up the hill. He looked around not that many people were looking and he started walking over. Then he felt he got hit in the back and fell to the ground.
