We found a kid and we think he is from the village we were just at. Mara is trying to talk to him now, but, he seems to be a bit distant. Riven said as he walked out from behind the trees. He wasn't sure if Aurelius or Lucky could help, but Mara was bad with people so they would be a better choice.
(this is a little late but i made a survivor, that'll be the reason Arioch and Zuriel took so long)
Name: Telara
Age: 12
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Appearance: 4'11", green eyes, dark brown curly hair
Personality: she's very timid and tries to keep to herself, she loves books, Mavrus acts as a safety blanket for her
Dragon's name, appearance, personality: Mavrus, a very small pseudodragon with silver and grey scales ~1 foot tall, he tries to protect Telara at all times
Background (occupation, social class, backstory, etc): she lost her parents to the village attack and was found by Zuriel.
“Should both of us come or just Aurelius?” She asked
(sorry if she's a little unfinished, my brain is going a thousand miles per hour)
Doesn't matter, let's just go. Riven turned and started to walk away hoping they would follow. "Listen lady, thanks, but no thanks. I don't need your help or protection." Chi stuck her tongue out at Mara and turned away. "You snooty brat, I'm just trying to help. You shouldn't talk to people older than you that way." He was making everything hard for Mara and it was frustrating.
(It's all good. She looks fine to me!)
"Well, I'll be damned… Pollux could probably bring the kid out if they're from the village, but I don't want to bother the guy… I'll give it my best."
Aurelius began to walk towards where Riven had come from.
(@Alex Mercer Can Oliver turn out to be sort of like a big brother to Telara? After they get to know each other more can they become good friends?)
(Ohhh cuteee Honestly they're all just gonna be one big family if this all plays our right.)
(I hope so!! Ships won’t work I think)
Lucky stood up and Onyx followed her and Riven
Riven walked them back to the spot and all you could hear was arguing back and forth between Oliver and Mara. "I don't need to listen to you, I don't even know you. You could be a murderer for all I know!" Oliver set his backpack down on the ground. If he wasn't walking around he wasn't going to carry it. Chi flew over to Mara and stared to tell her off, even if she could only make small chirping noises, you could tell she was angry.
(Real talk, I was thinking of making Pollux and Aurelius a couple maybe. Not for the RP because that could be awkward, but in the actual story, assuming I still decide to keep Pollux. I've kind of had his character sitting around for a while and haven't known what to do with him… If anyone wants to make ships, you can. Doesn't really matter to me.)
Aurelius had eventually walked far enough to see the boy Riven had told him about.
"Hey, we're from a village to the southwest. Ours was burned down, too," he explained as he limped closer.
(Gtg. Be back in two hours)
"Shut it, no one was talking to you." Oliver pointed to Aurelius. He opened his mouth to say something till his backpack moved and immediately he forgot about his surroundings and pulled the egg out. "Chi, did you see that?" His eyes lit up as he looked at it. This was to be his first dragon he owned. The small Fairy flew back over to him and also looked at the egg. Mara walked over to Aurelius and huffed. "He's very rude for a child."
(I kinda want to do a ship.)
Zuriel crept into veiw on the other side of the clearing with a small child holding onto her wing I'm sure they're close small one.
After Oliver sat there for a few more minutes the egg didn't move. "Dang, I thought it was really going to hatch this time." He picked up the egg and put it back in his backpack. "You have a dragon egg? I've never seen one before." Mars walked closer but Oliver quickly shut his bag. "That's none of your business."
Zuriel followed the familiar voice of Mara and was surprised to see that she was talking to someone Oh, hello Mara.
"Oh, Zuriel, hello." Mara smiled and turned away from Oliver. While they were talking Oliver tried to slip away. He didn't trust these people and only wanted to travel and find more interesting creatures to write about.
"Sorry we took so long." We heard someone and… Telara slowly walked through the brush holding Mavrus to cover most of her face
(i now leave for like 2 hours)
"Aw, how cute!" Mara loved kids, but they for some reason were scared of her or didn't like her. Probably because she looked so different and had piercings everywhere. "Chi, does she look familiar to you?" Oliver whispered to his friend. For a moment she looked at her and shook her head. "Well, then let's go." When Oliver turned around Riven was right there. You're not going anywhere. "Wow, a light Dragon. I haven't seen one of these in a long time."
Mavrus narrowed his eyes at Mara She's very shy. Telara quietly said "H…hello…"
"Light dragon?" Aurelius asked, "So they're really real? But um… look, we're only here to help. We managed to find someone else from your village. If you don't trust us, maybe the fact that we were helping Pollux would convince you."
Hi, my name is Marahasi, you can just call me Mara." She held out her hand, but didn't expect the young girl to take it. "Anyway," While still holding out her hand she turned around to see Oliver trying to pet Riven. "Could you not touch him." Oliver ignored Mara and turned his attention to Aurelius. "Of course their real and also very rare, not many around anymore." He walked over to where Pollux was standing. "I don't know him." Chi chilled on Oliver's shoulder and nodded.
Telara slowly shook her hand but then went back to holding Mavrus. Mavrus relaxed We were actually wondering if we could stay with you, if that wouldn't be much of a problem. Arioch dismounted leaned against a tree and had some idle chit chat with Zuriel
Lucky looked over at Oliver and Telara, trying to figure them out.
Telara took a glance at lucky and tried to hide herself behind a tree while still paying attention to Mara
"I gathered that he was of a rare kind… We couldn't find any books on him back home. You seem quite knowledgeable," Aurelius explained before dealing out a compliment to maybe sway him a little more.
He turned to see Telara at last. He had only been aware she was there because of her dragon. Aurelius offered her a smile and his name.
"Of course you can stay with us. We're trying to find somewhere safe, and you two deserve the same."
Pollux narrowed his eyes. "You don't… know me…? I- ah, forget it… I've seen you around, kiddo."
Slightly out of breath, he doubled over a bit, his palms outstretched against his thighs.
