Hawkin saw her look at the organ. He smiled, and said, "Can you play?"
(sorry, was at rehearsal)
Kylie glanced to him. "I can play piano…is it much different?"
Hawkin smiled. "Not that much. You'll just need someone to work the pedals. I can do that. I know how to play…"
"Okay." Kylie shrugged and, smiling, sat down on the bench and started to play 'This Is Halloween' carefully.
Hawkin smiled as she played. He waited for her to finish.
Kyile struck the last chord with ergo, turning to smile at Hawkin.
Hawkin smiled, and hugged Kylie. "That was amazing… Now, can I try? It's been forever…"
Kylie giggled. "Of course."
Hawkin laughed. "Now don't you make fun of me…" He placed his fingers on the keys, and began to play. He starts playing Hallelujah.
Kylie smiled softly at the old song.
Hawkin finished. He looked at Kylie. "I'm sorry it was old….. It was the only one I could remember fully….."
"It was beautiful." She grinned at him. "You play really well."
Hawkin smirked. "Not to my ear, or my family… If they heard this, it would be disappointing for them to hear this… I was taught better than that…."
Xander threaded his hands through Rigel's hair and nodded softly. "If you want to." He mumbled, slowly falling asleep. He was surprised that he didn't fall asleep earlier, or even feel tired with everything going on. He pulled the blanket over him and closed his eyes, still awake just so he could listen to Rigel speak.
"Oh, come on. That was amazing. Better than I could do." Kylie nudged him, grinning. "And that's saying something."
Rigel closed his eyes too as he spoke, “I’m going to need to buy a new camera… Then I want to travel Scotland -or wherever we end up- with you, I want to capture every moment…” Rigel snuggled closer, pulling the blanket over him more too. Soon he slipped into a deep sleep, exhausted from using his powers earlier and relaxed in Xander’s arms.
"Oh, come on. That was amazing. Better than I could do." Kylie nudged him, grinning. "And that's saying something."
"Not really…" Hawkin rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm out of practice. Where do you want to go next?"
"Whatever." Kylie grinned at him. "Do you have…half/finished construction sites?"
Hawkin smiled. "Yeah we do. Where else do you think I could have learned parkour?"
Kylie scoffed. "You call that parkour?"
Hawkin sucked his breath in. He pursed his lips. "My pride has been hurt… Now I don't know if I want to take you to a construction site…" He joked.
"Alright, alright." She nudged him playfully, giggling. "It's amazing."
Hawkin laughed. "See? I played the pity card and it worked perfectly! Now, do you want the one in the center of the town, or the one closer to the ocean, where you can feel the breeze?"
"Only because I'm in love with you." Kylie rolled her eyes. "How about the one in the center of town?"
Hawkin raised his eyebrows. "You're in love with me? I've never been told that before…"
"Well, it's true." Kylie shrugged.
Hawkin stood up, and kissed Kylie on top of her head. "Well, if you must know, I'm in love with you too…"
"How did I guess?" She giggled.
Hawkin rolled his eyes. "Come on. It's dark outside, and we can sneak into the construction site without worry."
"Alright." She followed him, giggling.
Hawkin slid the board , and mildly tumbled out of the old church. He hoped Kylie didn't see his misstep… He held the board, and waited for her to follow him.
Kylie raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything as she jumped out of the church.
