"Go for it then." Xavier muttered, "You'll never take me alive."

Evera tensed up, lowering Riley back into the powder room. "Stay here," she told her before turning back to Leonard. "Leonard, please don't do this," she said, her eyes begging.

"I'll leave Riley alone." He said bluntly, "She already when though enough." Turning back to Xavier, he muttered, "I'll like to see how Fire and Ice go together." Tightening his fist, he zoomed forwards with a fire ball ready to throw.

"Quare oportet ut partes?" Xavier growled. Taking action, he blasted the floor with his own ice and created a wall that blocked Leonard weak attempt to kill them.

Alice watched all this with wide eyes. That was Jo's specialty: corruption.
"We're not getting him back now, I'm sorry Xavier. We have to leave before he gets past the wall."

"Alice!" Xavier hissed, "He is my mission! I have to bring him back!" Blasting the ice wall once again, the usual red glow began again from the other side. "You go then, I'll take care of him."

'Really?' Leonard thought as the wall froze over again. 'Better make a new way though.' Burning down the walls around him, he jumped into the other room and began to burning down those walls.

"Alice, we have to get Riley out of here," Evera said.

Nodding to Everas command, he glanced at the side walls, "Evera, you go with them! Its better to get all then only some out!"

"Stupid wall." Leonard muttered, "Where the H$%& is Johan? He could be sending re-enforcement right now!"

"Evera, leave with Riley, make sure both of you are safe and do not move until either me or Xavier come to get you." Alice went to stand next to Xavier. "Go now."

"Alice," Xavier sighed, "You should go with them, I can deal with this little boy alone!"

"Nope." Alice stood her ground and waved at Evera to start moving.

Shaking his head, he muttered to himself, "Women, so determined." Looking up, he quickly froze the heating walls around him, "We should lead him out, he will be much easier to handle if he is in a open space."

Alice nodded. "You da boss. Temporarily, that is." She started backing away.

The walls slowly turned to ashes, and looking up, Leonard could see the blurry outlines of his teacher, 'Where are the others?' He though, 'What will happen if they get away?' Rubbing his hands together, he punched the wall as hard as he cold with his fiery fist. It did not shatter, but it did break.

Blasting the wall once more, Xavier turned and peacefully walked back down the hall, 'He's still young…. And so much like my son.'

Alice paused. "Xavier, listen to me. We'll do what we can to dissuade him of this, but if the moment comes where… where we have to kill him. you cannot let anything cloud your sense."

"Kill Leonard or Johan? Because I'm not killing Leonard, even if I'm at the brink of death, I'm not wasting over a century on earth just to kill the boy I was sent to find."

Mel watched the battle, still slightly in shock.

Evera hurried through the halls, still supporting Riley. She wasn't about to abandon the people she'd dragged into this. No, but she had to get Riley somewhere safe, first. Once they reached the street, she pushed Riley out. "Call the police," she instructed, pressing a quick kiss to Riley's lips. Riley nodded, shell-shocked, and hurried away. Evera turned around and made her way back to the fight, her heart pounding wildly in her aching chest.

Bursting through one of the un-iced walls, Leonard jumped out of the smoking room and watched as Xavier and Alice raced down the hall. Smoke flooded the hallway, making everything harder to see. "You coward!" Leonard exclaimed, "I never thought you would run!"

"I never thought you would become so evil." Xavier muttered.

"Come and fight me!" (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
