“If he’s not eating he doesn’t get to tell me to eat.” She frowned.

Pax sighed. “Just eat ‘cha food.”

“I am eating my food.” She grumbled, finishing most of the food on her plate and leaning back in her chair.

Pax clicked his nails on the surface of the table. “You’re not done.”

“I am done.” The replied, getting up and helping Lila with her dish.

Pax took her plate. “I’ll give you more, then.”

“But I’m not hungry.” She said as Lila slid off her chair and attempted to push it back under the table.

Pax huffed. “We might be gone for a while. Eat more.”

“Uh no. C’mon Lila, let’s go get you dressed.” She said, taking her daughters hand. “Bye bye.” Lila waved to Pax as they walked away.

Pax rolled his eyes and looked down at the food. He grabbed a fork and started to shovel it into his mouth hungrily.

North came down a little later without Lila. “I’m ready when you are.”

Pax looked up from the plate with a bit of egg dangling from his mouth. He nodded hastily and tossed the plate into the sink and walked over, swallowing his food.
“Ready to go now.”

“Okay then. How exactly do we get there?”

“Don’t you have some kinda ring?”

“Yeah I can go get it.” She said, running upstairs and returning a minute later holding it.

Pax rubbed his hands together. “Okay. What now?”

North took his arm and slipped the ring on her finger, appearing a second later in Neo’s library.

(I am returned.)

Pax looked around. “A library? Neo doesn’t like libraries…”

"Really? He's in here a lot.." She said curiously, walking out of the library. "Should we see him first or try and find insanity on our own?"

Pax frowned a bit more. “I think I know how to get to him. We’ll have to talk to Death first, though.”

"Mm, great." She muttered, walking towards Death's office.

Pax followed her, sighing. “You have no reason to be afriad of Death, North.”

"I'm not afraid of Death." She replied.

Pax hummed in disbelief and paused at the door of Life’s office.
“You first.”

"Why would I be afraid of Death?" She asked him, knocking on the door.

“Come in!” Called Life. Pax didn’t answer. Just nodded at the door.

North sighed and opened the door, smiling at Life. "Hello again."

Life looked over and smiled. “Hello, North. I’m assured you are happy with yourself now, yes?”

"Most of the time, yes. Can we speak to Death?"

Life nodded. “Death is just through there.” Life glanced at Pax, who wasn’t looking at him.
