Cameron scoffed gently. “Right… hmm… well how would we function like this? We’d have to learn how to sleep like this, to sit and use the restroom like this…”

"Ugh, fine," Lilah groaned, detaching herself from him and walking away toward the restaurant.

Cameron trotted after her quickly. “Wait up, Lilah!”

"Walk faster, Cameron," Lilah called over her shoulder.

“Why are you going so fast?” Cameron cried after her, quickening his pace.

"Because I'm hangry," Lilah grumbled.

Cameron snuck up behind her and scooped her up in a bridal carry. “Well, my hangry princess, I’ll carry you.”

Lilah let out a surprised squeak and glared at Cameron. "Put me down, please."

Cameron chuckled merrily and didn’t comply with her snapish request. “I am going to carry you, like your noble steed.”

"My 'noble steed' is being a pain in the tail," Lilah muttered under her breath.

Cameron giggled and kissed her face gently. “We’re almost there, don’t get grumpy!”

Lilah almost smiled at the kiss, but she didn't quite let it take her lips.

"Fine, fine," she grumbled.

Cameron shifted his arms around her. “Grumpy grumpy grumpyyyy….”

"I'm hungry!" Lilah exclaimed in defense of herself.

“Ooooh, hungry. I am too, Lilah.” He smiled a bit as they approached the restaurant.

"Will you please set me down, now?" Lilah asked as they walked up.

“Nope. I’m carrying you forever.” Cameron nudged the door open and walked in.

"Cam…" Lilah groaned, lifting an arm to cover her face.

Cameron giggled and ordered a booth for two. They were lead across the resturant, Cameron kept holding her, beaming.

"Would you please put me down?" Lilah practically begged, peeking out from under her arm and revealing a deep, embarased blush.

Cameron plopped her down into the booth and sat across from her.
“Yep! There you go.”

Lilah groaned and buried her face in her arms, which she placed on the table. "Finally…"

A waiter walked over with some nachos and salsa. Cameron ordered their drinks.

"Salsa?" Lilah chirped, looking up. She smiled and grabbed a chip, scooping some of the chunky salsa.

Cameron rolled his eyes and grabbed a chip, scooping it in the salsa. “Yep. Salsaaa!”

Lilah stuck the chip in her mouth with a grin, happy now that she had food.

"What're you going to order?" she asked after swallowing her bite.

“I am going to order the Shrimp Chipotle. It is just too good.”

"Hm… I was thinking I'd order chicken enchiladas…" Lilah mused, eating another chip as she looked down at the menu.

Cameron hummed hungrily, and the waiter brought over their drinks.
“Are you two ready to order?”

"I think so," Lilah said, looking up with a polite smile. "I'll get the chicken enchiladas."
