He chuckled, standing up and walking up to her. He used his index finger and his thumb to gently lift yet chin up. "I will scream your name to the rooftops and claim that you are mine. I don't know why I even hesitated before."

She blushed harder, looking into his eyes. She was smiling so wide she felt like she looked like a goofball. Then she leaned in and kissed him.

He kissed her back slowly sucking in every little thing he could- her soft, warm lips, her eyes, and - goodness- her smile. His hand on her chin moved to her cheek and his other to her waist. He pulled her closer gently, pulling her into the safety of his partial embrace.

Fern wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling much better than she had earlier. He was her boyfriend. Like, for real. Being in his embrace felt so perfect it made her feel like she was flying.

"I love you," he muttered into the kiss. As he said it, he could feel all the little knots in his stomach loosen. He added more passionate inti the kiss. She was his and he was hers.

When he said that, her heart skipped a beat. “I love you too,” she whispered, breaking away for just long enough to say it before coming back into the kiss with full force. She felt all giggly and happy. He loved her. He loved her.

He felt sparks run through every piece of his body, mending whatever was broken into something new- something golden. He was so into the kiss, he couldn't feel his feet moving backwards until he tripped, falling onto his bed, breaking the kiss.

Fern giggled. “You okay?” She asked, holding out her hand to help him up. Her face was slightly flushed and she was grinning.

He laughed a little. "Yeah." He glanced at her hand before jokingly looking up and down at her small figure. "I think that I'd be more capable helping myself up."

Fern blushed a little, laughing. “I guess you’re right,” she replied, folding her arms in front of her chest.

He laughed and stood, walking closer to her. "Hey, I'm just kidding." He took her hands and unfolded her arms as he held onto her hands.

“I know,” she said, looking down at their hands and blushing more some. She looked back into his eyes. “You’re really cute when you’re kidding.”

"You're really cute when you're blushing." He smiled. She honestly was. It was like a light flipped on in her eyes when her cheeks turned pink.

Of course that made her blush even harder. “Stop iiiiit,” she complained. “My face feels so hot right now.” She giggled.

He laughed. "I wonder why…" He laughed again, letting go of her hands to hold her waist. He placed his forehead on hers and looked into her eyes while gently swaying. "I love you so much," he whispered.

She put her arms around his neck again. “I love you too,” she replied, smiling. She wondered if he could feel how warm her face was. She hoped not.

He pulled her closer, gently kissing her again. He pressed his lips to hers before making his way down her neck again. She feels really warm…

Fern was glad as her blush finally began to fade. Every spot that his lips touched tingled. She felt safe and protected and wanted, and it felt amazing.

His lips came to her chest, just above where her shirt cut off. He moved back up her neck, playfully biting it halfway. Electricity ran throughout his entire body. Between every kiss, he'd repeat himself, not letting himself hesitate. "I love you." His voice was gently but tue love he felt was strong.

Fern felt the electricity too. She moved herself just a little closer. She didn’t even think about how her family would react if they ever found out. She’d gotten away with skipping once, but could she do it again? She wouldn’t think about it. She looked into Zavian’s eyes, thinking about how much she loved him.

He pulled back a little and looked at her. "Don't you need to be home soon? I think class ends any minute…" He didn't want her to leave, but he knew she might need to.

She sighed. "I guess…" she replied, even though it had been worrying her. She looked at him longingly. "I wish I didn't though."

"Me too." He thought for a moment. "Do you need a ride?" (Sorry it's short and it sucks, I just woke up from a very sudden nap)

“Yeah, That’d be great,” she said. She wasn’t in any rush to move from him though, so she just stayed put.

"Maybe just a few more minutes…" He hugged ger tighter, placing his head on top of hers while swaying a little. He didn't understand how she could send butterflies from just looking at him. It had never truly happened before- he had never let it. But this time was different…

She closed her eyes and let herself melt into him. She hugged him back, trying to memorize everything about this moment so she could remember it later. While it felt amazing, she was still acutely aware of how little time she had. But honestly, spending time with Zavian felt more important.

He reluctantly let go after a minute or two. "Ready?" He could feel his heart begin to droop even as the words left his mouth.

“No,” she said, then sighed. “But if I don’t go now, my parents will find out and then I’ll be dead.” She looked up at him and her heart hurt a little. She told herself it’d be fine. If her parents caught her it would be worse than leaving him for a few hours.

He chuckled. "I'd prefer you not to be dead, I just got you." He grabbed his keys off his desk and headed to the front door, opening it. "Shall we?" She must still be asleep…

“Sure,” she said, still a little reluctantly. She smiled at him nonetheless, determined to end on a good note. “Thank you,” she added, walking through the door.
