Fawna read the note from Circus Master Aria and began turning it over in her head. "The one they call Ghost. So, a person. Ghost… I don't know anyone called Ghost. She lifted her gaze to see most people looking determined and conclusive. Maybe, if it's Circus Master Aria, someone from the Circus? She decided to head for the tent.
Winter walker about the players, trying her best to ignore their following eyes. She was not due to perform tonight, so she took the oppurtunity to wander, dressed in a gown of silvery-blue, fancy in tribute to the first night. She looked at the people who caught her attention. Young boys walking with giggling girls. Or strong men on the hunt already. Woman who were asking for hints and gathering ideas about the clue and others who were just taking in this world of amazement, going into tents and trying out some magic. Young and old, rich and poor alike. She had been amazed when she was brought in. The magic present here called to her soul, and she stayed. It embraced her, molded her, and now, performing was her life. Magic called to the souls of few and even fewer listened. Thats what made the Circus of Stars so sacred. And as Winter watched the civilians, she knew they felt the same way. "Hey! There's a performer righ' there." Someone said and Winter turned to see two boys. One with fiery red hair pointed at her and they advanced. " 'Ello Miss." The shorter of the two said, his shaggy brown hair falling into his eyes. Winter dipped her head in response. The red-head chimed in. "My name is Peter and this is Angus. We were wondering if you could show us to the fortune-tellers." Angus nodded his head in confirmation. Winter put a finger on her chin and nodded. Their eyes widened with eagerness. Winter turned in the direction of the fortune tellers and pointed. "Oh thank you- Can you speak?" Agnus asked, pushing the hair from his eyes. He didnt look to be older than 16. Winter mimicked the gesture of locking her lips and throwing away the key, the sound of that key hitting the stone ground echoed. The boys looked at the shimmering silver key with bulging eyes. Winter fought her laughter. Bending down, she picked the key up and handed it Peter. "T-thank you…" He stuttered as she turned and left. "Wow, she was mute!" She heard Agnus whisper and only then did she giggle. It's not that she couldn't talk, she just preferred not to. It made her nervous.
Cyre walks around the area. He had his arms crossed broodingly in thought. He walks inside the main entrance of the place. He sighs, seeing no one he knew
Soulless Ghost sat invisible atop a tree and silently judged the players. Maybe he could get an idea of their strengths and weaknesses?
She got to the tent and went up to the first person she saw, which happened to be a red-head gypsy. She tapped the woman on her shoulder. The latter did a pirouette and faced her.
"HELLO, LOVE, I AM GYPSY ROSE LEE, HOW MAY I BE OF SERVICE?" she screamed at Fawna, who stumbled back in surprise.
"Um, well, I was just wondering where I could find Ghost?"
"think it'll be that easy huh? Finding a key, or asking a performer? Do you really think it'll be that simple?" Turning back into a wolf, Aria stalked away to the dusk district, just in time for the night performances.
(Where am I hidden?)
(Where am I hidden?)
You're in the dusk district and one of the night performers, people have to find you after ur performance or before it, you'll be hidden among other performers and remember, you can turn invisible, use that to your advantage
What about Ed and… the other one?//
(cool)
Soulless Ghost preferred to remain invisible. He walked with the crowd, unseen.
What about Ed and… the other one?//
Ed is a spectator, he can come in at anytime, he just silently critizes the circus and talks to random people. The other one? You mean brink?
Yes, sorry I forgot the name//
Yes, sorry I forgot the name//
It's ok, :D you're playing both character right?
Yup!//
Get to class Fenris//
Ed walked through the circus, watching the competitors with an amused look on his face. Heh, everybody here is an idiot.
Sierra stood outside of her tent watching the people walk around. Many of them were mostly participating in the game, other were just watching.
Aria sat in her reserved booth at the main Dusk districts main tent, there was no point in turning back to human self, she liked feeling powerful and dangerous. She saw many of the participants from the gate gathering near the front to get a better veiw of the show and many of her own performers there on their night off. None of the partucipants looked up at her as they walked by, either they knew who she was and we're afraid or were too enthralled with their surroundings that they just thought she was part of the act. "Let the game begin"
Fawna jumped out of her skin. She twisted around to see who had spoken and saw Aria's wolf sauntering away. She flicked herself on the head. Moron.
She looked around and noticed most of the other players were gathered around the gates of the circus. She carefully walked over to them, and using her lithe figure to her advantage, she climbed upwards and hauled herself onto the top of the gate, holding on to the metal railing for dear life. She had a great view from here.
And the game has begun. Soulless Ghost found hiding as instinct. He didn't even have to try.
Winter continued her stroll smiling and waving, smiling and waving. No one asked her anything of importance and she gave even less important answers, often leading players astray on their paths, to be lost to the magic instead. Those who truly deserve to win will already have the answer in their hearts. They'll need the help finding it she thought as she walked. As she strolled, she often felt a presence about, something there but….unseen. She had her suspicions and she looked towards the presence, figuring it was Soulless Ghost. She smiled a pretty smile and gave a small wave to whom went unseen, then continued on her way.
Did Winter just wave at me? But she can't see me… right?, Soulless Ghost wondered.
She's seen it a million times, and a million times it enchants her, fully takes her soul, heart and mind, distracting her from the responsibilities and roles she had to play. The dusk circus was her favorite show to watch, she loved the mystery and enchant of the whole performance and the story behind it always captured her mind. This is what the Circus of the Stars was meant for, the entertainment, game and mystery, not for heartbreak, sorrow, and hate.
Sierra decided to walk away from her tent and close it for a little while. She just wanted to go for a short walk.
May i pronounce this dead//
