"One of 'em got away," Vespera shouted back, placing herself back upright on the horse, "But yeah, I'm fine!"
Her horse sped up and soon she was riding closer behind Shane.
"One of 'em got away," Vespera shouted back, placing herself back upright on the horse, "But yeah, I'm fine!"
Her horse sped up and soon she was riding closer behind Shane.
Shane tried to look over the boxes. "Where are we going, Brandy?" Her spooked horse merely continued clattering down the path and whinnying in fear.
"We took the wrong path at the fork in the road, I'm afraid," Vespera said, "We're headed into no man's land."
"Hm I'm fine with anything" She answered "I'm a bit new here so I'm not sure where has good food" Cassidy commented shrugging her shoulders slightly
(Yeah guys!)
Phoenix side grinned. She looked around, "Anyone from any kingdom could be here right?"
“Yeah but I haven’t seen anyone other than you here.” She said.
Shane sighed loudly, her legs bobbing with the running pace. "Great. WONDERFUL!"
Rey grinned. "Then let's have some meatloaf and mashed potatoes."
Cassidy smiled "Great!" She answered
Vespera took her scimitar off her belt.
"Keep an eye out. My father always told me this was one of the best places to get robbed. And we're two teenagers, so… um… I hope you know how to fight, because it's not my strong suit, and we look like easy targets."
Shane rolled her eyes. "I have a whole bunch of weapons along my horse's sides, can rattle them off to interested patrons, and you think I can't use them? Especially considering I'm a traveling merchant?"
Rey grinned. "Just take a seat. I'll grab some potatoes from the back and get started."
"Well I have, so if we meet anyone else. Can you just pretend I'm the crippled Fallon Rose from Storm?" Phoenix asked Kaliyah.
“Alright. My name will be Alice Oaken.” She bargained. Then she looked up “You haven’t seen me at any war meetings?” She questioned
Phoenix shook her head with a laugh, "I'm always in my head, ignored, or half asleep. So sorry."
Cassidy nodded and sat down and waited patiently, eyes wandering around the room.
"I sell weapons too, but I sure as hell can't use them," Vespera replied nervously, "Good to know you're more skilled than I am."
Shane glanced at her, grinning. "I'll keep you safe." She winked before turning her attention back to the road the best she could.
Rey trotted outside and looked up and around. He sighed, inhaling the deep night air. It was a beautiful night.
Phoenix shook her head with a laugh, "I'm always in my head, ignored, or half asleep. So sorry."
“But you must have heard of Ranger Arrow?” She said. The Rangers were known as either Flames or Lights. They were the ‘peacekeepers’ of the land and each kingdom had its own Ranger group. There were usually at least 6-7 groups in each kingdom but Ranger arrow was known in each kingdom as the kings warrior. Coming to the aid of whichever king that needed him. At the moment he was in war council with all the kingdoms, unable to take a side. He was most famous for his help but was extremely modest about it and never liked talking about his achievements.
Vespera felt a smile form on her face. "Well, if nothing else, this is the most excitement I've had in a good while."
She heard a few loud growls and whinnying back towards the portion of the road they had run away from, and her expression turned somber.
"They got her," she said, casting a slight glance over her shoulder.
Shane's face fell at Vespera's words. "Let…let's just be glad that wasn't us." Her voice stuck to her throat like peanut butter as they rode.
"Of course I have!" Phoenix seemed insulted that she wouldn't know that much. She had seen him many a time in the Sun palace, of course had he seen her? She wasn't sure.
"Yeah…" Vespera whispered, "Let's keep up the pace. I think that puts some distance between us and the… were they wolves? I didn't get a good look."
"Probably wolves." Shane kept her gaze forward. "I don't think we'd be able to turn back now anyway, considering these two just… heard that."
Cassidy sat for a few minutes before curiosity got the best of her and she got up and looked around some more.
There were only two rooms and a bathroom. It was very unclear where Rey used the restroom. We don't think about that any more.
"I guess I'll get back home eventually," Vespera said, trying to reassure herself. She looked over to her right arm, which was scraped and bleeding a little bit. She huffed and put her eyes back on the path ahead.
(I'm headed to bed. Feel free to drag my character places if you need to.)
(Okay. Niiight)
(Night Bec!)

“That’s good. I only know you because I’m his apprentice.” She said finally revealing the bronze lightning bolt emblem, which showed that she was in-training, part of the Storm Rangers, and that she was in the top group. “He hasn’t taken an apprentice since he started in the rangers so I don’t know what he saw in me that made him pick me.” She said

Phoenix looked at her impressed, "Very nice. So you go into all the war meetings with him? That makes sense."
