Andion chuckled and took the last bite of his food, “It’s fine, Blaine. Don’t worry.”
Andion chuckled and took the last bite of his food, “It’s fine, Blaine. Don’t worry.”
"So, where should we go first?" Blaine asked, finishing her food with a small smile.
Andion shrugged a shoulder, “I think it’s your turn to decide.”
"Hm. Well, I'd like to just wander for a bit, then. Maybe we could split up and meet back here for lunch?" Blaine suggested with a shrug.
Andion smirked a little, “You’re planning something again. I can feel it.”
"And so what if I am?" Blaine questioned, raising an eyebrow at him. "Maybe I want to surprise you with something without having you tailing me and learning about it before I get to show you."
Andion held his hands up, “Alright Alright. I’ll leave you to your planning and whatever this suprise is. Meet back here at noon then?”
"Noon sounds good," Blaine said with a smile as she stood. "No following me, okay?"
“I know, I know. No following you I got it.” Andion said, heading inside to pay.
Blaine chuckled and waited for him to come back out. She bounced on her toes slightly in excitement; she couldn't wait for him to see what she was getting him.
Andion came out quickly, “Well, go do whatever it is your going to do then!” He said, shooing her off playfully.
"I wanted to say goodbye quickly!" Blaine laughed, reaching up to peck his lips.
“Okay then, goodbye!” Andion laughed and nudged her a little.
Blaine laughed again and turned around. She shook her head, still laughing softly as she made her way to the shop.
Andion watched her go before heading off in the opposite direction. What is she up to?
Blaine entered the shop with a small smile playing on her lips. She looked around the store and spotted the jacket she'd seen Andion looking at, running her hand over it for a moment. Holding it up in front of herself, she made sure that it would fit him, then slung it over her arm.
She turned around to look at the women's clothing. Now that she had what she needed, she may as well shop for herself.
Soon, she found a floor-length, burgundy dress that swished as she walked and made her look taller, and she smiled down at herself. She really liked it, but did she really need it? And could she afford it with the jacket?
I could wear it when we go on our mission. Who know? I might need to…
Andion walked aimlessly around the town, heading to a small market down by the river. People selling all sorts of items were along the shore but only caught his eye. A woman selling necklaces with all sorts of gems hung on a stand in front of her and one with a dark purple crystal peaked his interest.
She's look nice in that… He picked it up in his hand and twirled it around his fingers before deciding to buy it, slipping the gem into his pocket and walking off afterwards.
Blaine had bought both the jacket and the dress, but she hadn't found anything else that she wanted. It was almost noon, anyway, so she started to walk back to their meeting place.
Andion wandered down the riverside until noon when he headed back to the meeting spot. He fiddled with the necklace the entire way back, hoping Blaine would like it.
Blaine held her things to her chest to keep from dropping them or getting them stolen. She glanced up at the sky for a moment before she sped up slightly, impatient to see Andion's reaction to the jacket. A few minutes later, she was there, waiting for him to arrive.
Andion smiled as he walked the last few meters to the restaurant and saw Blaine there. He walked up behind her and placed a kiss to her cheek, "Hey there."
"Well, hey," Blaine chuckled, turning to face him with a smile. "Do you want to see what I got?"
"You have my full attention." Andion said, grinning at her.
"So, I got this dress," Blaine said, carefully setting the jacket at her feet. She held the dress up to herself to show him. "I know it's kind of excessive, but I really liked it and I thought I could maybe use it for the mission…"
"It's beautiful, Blaine. And I think it'll go perfectly with…" Andion pulled the necklace out and held it out to her, "This."
Blaine gasped and almost dropped the dress, then quickly adjusted it so she was holding it better.
"Andion… Wow, that's beautiful!" she exclaimed as she gaped at it.
“Then it’ll go well with the beautiful woman who’ll be wearing it.” Andion smiled and placed it around Blaine’s neck.
"I can't believe that you bought this for me…" Blaine said, reaching up to touch the gem as she looked at Andion softly. "Thank you."
Remembering the jacket at her feet, she grinned and picked it up. "I got you something, too. I saw you looking at this whole we were out the other day, so… Here," she said as she handed it to him.
“Blaine you shouldn’t have, really. Thank-you.” Andion grinned and kissed her on the cheek, slipping on the jacket, “How much was it?”
"I don't tell the price I paid for gifts. And I love you, so I wanted to buy it for you knowing that you'd like it," Blaine said, grinning because he liked her gift.
