"Nah, the weed is mine. I need it for my meds." Marrin said, being completely honest. "And I didn't get him that much… the rest is for me."

Poison works quietly. He sees Patch from the corner of his eye. He gives her a gentle smile before working again, humming softly as he manages to make the essence of each plant into a poison. Now I just need a syringe. Or two…

EJ let out a sigh of relief. "Ok. By the way, have you seen him around lately?" Patch catches Tino giving her a quick smile before going back to work, and she flashed him a quick, nervous smile as well before giving her focus to the little girl tugging on her patched up sleeve. "Patch! Patch!" "Yes Sally?" "Let's go play!" Patch looked at Marrin to make sure she wasn't needed here anymore.

"No, I haven't seen him. I just got back." He said absentmindedly, he noticed Patch's look and remembered what Lex had told him to do. "By the way, Lex wanted me to introduce you to Twinkie, Twinkie is my snake."

Patch clapped her hands together gently. "I would love to meet Twinkie! I love snakes!" Sally skipped forward. "Me too! Me too!"

"Twinkie is nice." He said, showing the albino snake that was curled around his hand. "Twinkie likes people, but stay away from her mouth. She's extremely venomous."

Patch slowly reached out and stroked Twinkie's head, careful of her mouth. "She's so cute…"

"I know!" Marrin squealed happily, no one liked his snake but Vita. "My friend Vita brought her for me. She likes to hang out in cereal boxes, so be careful."

Patch grinned. "Don't worry. I don't like cereal. I'll keep that in mind for Tino though." She continued to stroke the happy reptile.

Twinkie bleeped her tongue, hissing happily and rubbing her head against Patch's hand.

Patched squeaked with delight as the snek flicked her tongue, as Sally spun around the room, deciding to let Patch have the snake to herself. She glanced up. "May I ask who Vita is?"

"Vita is my friend! He's a Spirit Ruler!" Marrin says cheerfully, watching his snake with pride at how well she was doing.

Poison exits his place, finished with his work. He passed Patch and kisses her forehead gently, nodding to Marrin before exiting and looking for more supplies.

Patch squeaked at the unexpected kiss, but smiled. She enjoyed Tino/Poison's affection. Patch tipped her head at Marrin, hand still gently stroking Twinkie. "This may sound like a stupid question but what is a "Spirit Ruler"?

"Oh, he's a ghost that rules over the forest. He's really nice but is a bit of a warlord." Marrin said, pouring the mixture into a small container.

Patch pondered over this new bit of info. "That sounds cool." She smiled. She sat down on the floor, suddenly feeling a little shaky.

Poison found what he needed for his mission. "Alright. I'm ready." He mutters. Was he though? Yes. His eyes narrow.

Patch smiled at Posion, eyesight blurring, but determined to look fine. "Finished? That's good."

Poison smiles at her, kissing her forehead. "Hmm. Stay safe here, Patch." He says gently, hugging her tightly.

Takala yawns loudly then curls up at the foot of Toby's bed

(Of course you may join! Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I don't get on on weekends.)

Patch hugged him back tightly, reluctant to let go. "Where else would I go?" She smiled, as black spots tried to invade her vision. 'You're fine Patch.' She told herself as she spoke aloud: "Just stay safe. I'll be waiting for you when you get back."

He smiles gently. "Don't worry about me, Patch. I'll come back." He says softly, kissing her lips softly. "I always will."

Marrin set down the mixture and started to hum as she walked to the other side of the room where there was a small radio. She stuck out her tongue in concentration as she fiddled with the knobs, finally getting a song to turn on. ~Some nights I stay up, cashing in my bad luck~

Patch kissed Poison back lovingly. When she let go of him and Marrin turned on the radio, she sang along happily. This was one of her favorite songs. "Some nights I call it a draw. Some nights wish my lips could build a castle, some nights I wish they'd just fall off. But I still wake up, I still see your ghost. Oh, Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for, oh What do I stand for? What do I stand for? Most nights, I don't know anymore~"

Poison watches her sing with a soft smile. As much as he wanted to stay, he needed to get his job done. He kissed her cheek before leaving.

Patch smiled as Poison kissed her cheek. The fuzzy black vision was fading again. She watched Poison walk out and then stood up shakily. EJ stepped up next to her and asked, "What was wrong? You didn't seem well there for a second." Patch shook her head and said, "I don't want to talk about it. I'll take care of it in a few days."
