(What am I doing?)
“And how does one manage to make M less upset?”
(What am I doing?)
“And how does one manage to make M less upset?”
(Blep)
(And what Pax is trying to say is that if M was upset, he’d be less okay physically.)
(But He isn’t okay physically so doesn’t that make him upset?)
(Okay Pax is saying M if he— M— was upset of angry he— M— would be less okay physically because he’d avoid the others and be more secretive.)
(Yeah. And that’s what he’s doing…)
(Exactly. Your response didn’t fit with what Pax was trying to say.)
(Oh I didn’t realize that sorry)
(Wait so what should she say)
(Idfk)
(Oof)
“Do you know how to help him?”
Pax shook his head. “Not really.”
North sighed, coughing a little in the cold. “Has this ever happened before?”
Pax sighed and shook his head. “M’s never lost his magic or his immortality before. He’s probably devastated.”
“He had to know it was going to happen eventually right?”
“No, he wasn’t aware. Well, he knew he’d lose some of his magic for Neo’s godship but not his lifespan.”
“How long do you think he has?” She asked quietly, not really wanting to know the answer.
Pax sighed and didn’t answer. He didn’t want to think about it either.
“I’m not sure.”
North stood silent for a minute looking out at the snow falling. “I’m sorry Pax..”
Pax shrugged. “I’m probably going to go see Insanity. I want to do the most I can for him.”
“Are you going to tell M you’re going?”
Pax shook his head. “No. But I don’t want to go alone or with Xanthe.”
“I could go but..well I have Lila.”
Pax shrugged. “I guess I could ask Tyler.”
North shook her head. “M would kill him.”
Pax frowned. “I don’t want to go alone. You could ask Tyler to watch Lila.”
“Yeah..I guess I can.”
Pax frowned. “Or you could stay here. I’ll go alone.”
“No it’s fine. I can go.”
Pax glanced at her and grinned a bit. “Thanks.”
“No problem.” She smiled back a little.
Pax sighed softly again and looked out into the snowscape, silence falling between them like the snow falling on their shoulders.
(I really want a fucking KitKat)
