Aalexi turned around and realized she couldn't see the path anymore. "Oh no.." She muttered, turning around and trying to retrace her steps.

"I wasn't trying to interrupt your hunt, ducks are just very unpredictable." He hands her the now-Withered duck, its eyes staring wide.

Shane rode her horse through the forest, whistling happily. Rey’s weapons clinked together as the horse strode along. She occasionally went off the path to take a shortcut.

(Also I think Shane would be a good way for us to be connected to the royalty.)

Aalexi ran her hands through her hair and started walking. "Stupid, stupid. Why would you go off the path?" She asked herself angrily.

Shane burst into song.
“Ooooooooooooh~ There was a maaaaaaaan! Who waaaas very saaaaaaaad!”

Vespera heard singing a little off the path as she took a slight detour.
"Um… hello?" she asked, looking around frantically. She didn't know why she was so afraid. Perhaps it was just the unfamiliarity of it all.

“Heeeeeee was lonely toooooo~!”

Will looked up when he had heard the singing wondering what it was.

Aalexi stopped walking and looked up. Who’s singing?

Vespera unstrapped a lute from the side of the horse she was riding. That was an old folk song to which she somewhat knew the tune. She strummed a little in reply. Maybe she could make a new friend, or even better yet, a new customer.

Shane inhaled loudly before belting out, “Liiiiiiitle did he knooooooo that heeee’d find the oooone he looooves!”

Gennadi was checking his baldric once more as he leaned against a tree. A basket of freshly plucked herbs sat at he feet. Zeko hung lazily from a tree, flicking his tongue at Gennadi ever so often. As he worked in the shade of the trees, he swore he could hear…. a song? The tune clicked in his mind as something he'd heard some drunken soldiers singing off duty and he rolled his eyes with annoyance. His eyebrow adopted a twitch once he picked up on the sound of a lute. "They can't be serious!" he groaned and shook his head. He stood from his spot and snapped his fingers, Zeko responding with a hiss. His companion slithered from his brach onto Gennedi's neck and around his arm. "Let's go find this…. songstress shall we?"

“Oh-oh-oh-ohhhhh!” Shane sung from the bottom of her throat and from her heart. Her long cloak fluttered behind him, the engravings on the bottom rippling, giving her wake an awesome look.

(If Nore already had an idea then I’ll just continue on without them if they don’t want to be an apprentice.)

Aalexi sat down with a sigh and listened to the distant music.

Gennadi emerged from the trees and saw her. Narrowing his eyes, he cleared his throat. "Would. You. Stop." he glowered at her. What was she doing singing in the forest. "Sweetheart, you have just caused misery for all of the hunters who are in this forest. You are rather loud." Zeko agreed with a flick of his tongue. "What are you doing anyway?"

"I'm Bren Hazelwood, an alchemist." He introduced, holding out his gloved hand.

Phoenix backed away from the griffin and she heard singing, "Do you know who that is?"

Kaliyah lowered her bow and looked at axel. He barked and jumped onto Bren, sniffing him.

Phoenix backed away from the griffin and she heard singing, "Do you know who that is?"

"No, I have no idea." he replied to her.

"We should find out," Phoenix moved along towards the noise. Her crutches more of her legs than her actual legs.

"Are you sure?" he asked standing there and the girl walked away and forest looked towards the noise.

"I mean, we should see if them singing is a way of needing help right?" Phoenix said turning around for a moment.

"I'm Bren Hazelwood, an alchemist." He introduced, holding out his gloved hand.

Kaliyah lowered her bow and looked at axel. He barked and jumped onto Bren, sniffing him.

"He's adorable." Bren coo's, leaning down to pet him.

"fine…" he said and stepped forward and followed her.
