"I don't need a Guardian alright?!" Aliyia turns back, screaming.
"I don't need a Guardian alright?!" Aliyia turns back, screaming.
Mal seemed unaffected. “You might sooner or later. Now you’re stuck with one.”
Aliyia hated this. "I guess you need a place to stay then." She says calmly.
Mal shrugged. “I suppose I do,” He remarked this snidely, when he realized how annoyed he was making her.
"Come on." Aliyia states before leaving.
Mal followed her, dashing his spear through a loop in his robes. He glanced around the city, his wings flapping.
"And hide the wings." Aliyia calls from behind her.
“No one can see me, smart one,” Mal remarked immediately. “Just keep walking and look pretty.”
Aliyia hisses, but looks forward, running a hand through her raven hair to fix it. "I hate you"
“Congrats. You are part of the many people who do.” Mal scowled at the back of her head.
Aliyia hisses, but her shoulder slump as the hate leaves her body. Even though she was a demon, she couldn't hate anyone for long
Mal tailed her, the only sound between the pair was the clicking of his spear shaft on the sidewalk. His massive wings, which had saved Ailyia from doom, flapped behind him happily.
Aliyia sighs. "Come on…" She whispers quickly, leading the way to her apartment.
Mal nodded and quickened his pace so he was pratically on her toes. His spear clicked more often and his wings stiffened as he speed-walked.
"Can you not breathe on my neck?" Aliyia asks quietly. She asks.
Mal glared at her and slowed his pace. “Are we almost there?”
"Yes." Aliyia says, as she walks into a building.
Mal slipped into the building after her, looking around. Into the elevator and onto her apartment’s floor they went.
Aliyia sighs. She was banished, and she was fine that she was. "I got kicked out…"
Mal looked at her. “Kicked out from the apartment complex?”
"Of hell." Aliyia whispers.
Mal nodded. “You’re awfully nice for a Demon. They kick the nice ones out, right?”
Aliyia only nods. She looks down at her boots.
“Alright, then, let us in.” He gestured to the apartment door.
Aliyia looks up, pulling the keys out of her pocket and unlocking the door.
Mal nudged it open with his foot. “Go inside, then.”
Aliyia hisses, but does as she's told. The room was unnaturally bright.
Mal walked in after her, looking around. “Why is it so bright in here? I thought Demons disliked the light.”
"I told you I'm not a normal demon." Is all Aliyia says.
Mal rolled his eyes and mumbled, “Yeah the kind that summons Guardian Angels…”
