Whatever weaknesses the creature had were not only few and far between, but impossible to land a hit on from her current position. She had never been much for combat, not to this degree and certainly not of this caliber, so this encounter was especially beyond her comfort zone. One thing was certain, though; she'd need to find a weapon. As the laser cannons fired, Brook made a run for it the opposite direction in pursuit of anything that resembled a long-ranged weapon.
The Demon turned this way and that, trying to source the noise. It somehow hadn’t acted this blind before but we’re going to ignore that.
“Who else is here?”
"Are you blind also?" He asks, a cheery smile on his face.
"Seems we have company."

Keri looked up and saw a huge raging centipede she turned the other way for a moment and started grumbling about giant centipedes and them ruining her training, while she pulled out her bow and arrows and her hunting knife. She sighed and started to walk back to the village before hearing a voice in the woods talking to someone or something. turning around, she made her way to the noise and said "hello?"
Kathia instead of trying to find the camp decided to lay down. “Kathia. I said. Nevermind.” She picks Kathia up and sits her back on her shoulders, she looks around and starts walking toward the camp, though she doesn’t realize she is.
(Imean yes because it can’t tell what’s Human and what’s not so)
The Demon leaned forward, sniffing the air. “I smell blood. Is someone bleeding?” It was clearly blind to all pain, too.
"I smell it too." Indra said. "Take this, to heal those rounds I put in you." Indra said, revealing a cinnamon bun with mandrake extract on top.
Keri crouched and through the cover of a bush saw a girl pick up some sort of pet and place it on her shoulder, she sat and watched and soon the girl began to walk towards the village.
The Demon started as Indra drew close to it. It shied away into the shadow of the table, making faint noises of fear that no one in the room has heard a Demon make before.
Axion stops, she feels like she is being watched. She does a full 360 and sees nothing. “Oh joy. I get the feeling I am being stalked by a demon.” She started turned left from the village and starts wandering that way.
Hunter leaned down next to the demon and held out a hand. "I'm Hunter, If you dont want to eat that I can heal you with Fae magic."
"Fine by me." Indra said, leaving the roll for it on the table. "It's good though." He assured.
At worst, she'd more than likely have to use her chess pieces as ammunition. Given her demon physiology, the speed at which she hurdled them would probably seem closer to speeding bullets. Though she imagined if even laser cannons were struggling to leave a dent, she wouldn't have much luck with bringing it down, either. Then again, it was just a last resort; she had no intentions of fighting the creature head-on. Continuing through the village amidst the chaos, Brook knelt down and began to dig up the spot she marked, revealing an arrangement of buried rocks.
The Demon felt someone crouch near its shoulder and it shifted to click its teeth at Hunter. It shied away, shifting into what it thought to be a corner.
The demon reached the wire and trenches, butting through both, and taking a guard with it. The trench slowed it down though.
"Have you always been blind?" He asks in a soothing voice.
Keri sighed and stood up she called out to the girl "hey, wait!" Keri put her knife away but still held onto her bow and arrows. She came out from the cover of the brush and stood where the girl had stood before.
The Demon clicked its teeth again, moving back and forth on its feet.
“No, I haven’t.”
Axion stopped and turned around and saw a girl. She mutters to Kathia. “oh my.” She picks up Kathia and holds her up towards her. “I have a cat and I am not afraid to use her!”
"Hm, so unlike me, you were not born blind. What caused your blindness?" He asked, filling away information in his brain.
The Demon clicked its teeth, seemingly a natural thing they do.
“The other Demons tore them out when I gave mercy to a Human.”
Erica walked up to the centipede looking demon and the human. She saw some blood but had no clue which it came from. ”i-is anyone hurt?” she asked stuttering slightly.
Keri rolled her eyes at the cat "wow, i'm so scared," she continued to look at the cat and finally looked back up at the girl "look, i just wanted to see who you were, so now that i figured that out, i'll go now" Keri slung her bow over her shoulder and backed a little ways away from the girl.
Hunter's voice took on a cold edge. "How long ago was this?" Then in a softer tone. "Do they still hurt?"
Axion panicked, tossing Kathia on the ground. “Wait wait hang on, were you the one that shot those flares earlier?” Axion looked down at Kathia as she meowed a angerly.
The Demon reached for its eyes. “I don’t know. I can’t tell when the day passes anymore… I can’t tell time…”
Piling rock after rock in her arms, most of which she then tucked away in what little space there was to her jacket's pockets, Brook looked over the now empty hole in the ground. As she made it clear to herself, she would only start throwing them when it came down to life or death. And it's not like the world was on any shortage of rocks to begin with; the real inconvenience was having to flatten and mark new ones. But that was better than dying. "I know I'm not." She remarked towards the concerned woman whom she vaguely recognized from earlier as her gaze traveled toward the centipede demon closing in. "But you might be, if you hang around."
Keri shook her head "no, that was the town hall," She crouched on the ground and tried to get the cat to come closer so she could pet her.
"You know… We could maybe give you artificial eyes." Indra suggests. "But not while you've got those bullets in you." He said, offering the roll near the demon's nose.
