Zackary relaxed into the lake again, resisiting the temptation to stretch again. “Mmm what now?”
Zackary relaxed into the lake again, resisiting the temptation to stretch again. “Mmm what now?”
Afriel thought for a second, "maybe find a town. I don't know about you but I'd very much like a real bed to sleep in."
Zackary raised an eyebrow. “Here? You think there are people here?”
"No, but it'd still be nice to find a town. I'm sure we can find somewhere where demons and angels live."
(Ooo that would be the fluffiest thing ever)
Zackary sighed. “Sounds good. We could probably get food and new clothes, too.”
Afriel sighed with delight, "yes real food. No offence but meat is getting old. And new clothes, that'd be nice."
Zackary hummed. “Other Demons and Angels who aren’t assholes sounds so nice, too…”
Afriel laughed, "yes, ones that won't try and kill us."
Zackary stretched again, rising out of the lake. “Sounds great. Do you wanna go looking now?”
Afriel snapped her eyes shut, "yup, sure yeah." She raised her wings to hide her face, "but um, maybe get dressed first."
Zackary plopped down in the lake again. “You can go. I wanna scrub out my hair.”
"Right. See you back at camp? And don't take forever." Afriel made her way to the shore and quickly got dressed.
Zackary nodded then plunged underwater, scrubbing dirt, blood and other grimes out of his hair. He brushed his fingers through it too, lengthening it out to its full length.
Afriel made her way back to camp and decided to make a small fire to dry by.
Zackary stepped out sooner or later, and dried himself off on his flannel before getting redressed and going back to camp.
"Didn't take forever this time." Afriel laughed lightly and clapped mockingly. "Shall we start our search?"
Zackary shook out his wet hair, scattering water-droplets. “Yep. Let’s go.
Afriel stamped out the fire and turned to Zackary, "shall we fly or walk?"
“I think it’d be more convient to fly.” He covered the hole of meats and sticks again.
"Alrighty." Afriel gave a smile before stretching out her wings and launching herself into the air.
Zackary stretched, his wings appearing, also stretching out to their full length. He shot up into the air like a cork and stablized next to her.
Afriel out stretched out her arms, loving the feel of the wind under her wings. "Its been far to long since I got to fly because I just wanted to."
Zackary grinned happily at her. “Let’s ride, then. North we go.” He pointed a certian direction.
Afriel nodded her head and turned to go North. "Think we'll actually find a town?"
Zackary started to glide through the air at a slow pace. “Civilization is always north of a lake.”
Even though she wanted to go fast Afriel forced herself to slow down so she could glide next to Zackary. "Look at you being all smart."
Zackary spun around, dipping slightly though recovering. “It’s just logiic. If it rains they won’t get flooded. Logic.”
"Oh, guess I never really payed attention to the kind of stuff. You know, didn't really have the time." Afriel shrugged with a small laugh.
Zackary laughed gently. “Anyway, we’d better speed up.”
"Yes!" Afriel let a grin light her lips. "I mean, if you can keep up." She joked and shot off.
