Zackary poked his head out of the water, but not his body.
“My clothes aren’t dry yet.”
Zackary poked his head out of the water, but not his body.
“My clothes aren’t dry yet.”
"Yeah well its been a while." Afriel sighed, "and believe it or not I'm really bored with out someone to annoy."
Zackary gave a little laugh. “Then join me in here if you so desire.”
Afriel froze with shock, "what?" She finally let her eyes wonder to Zackary's face.
Zackary was staring determindely at her, knowing from the bottom of his heart she wasn’t going to do such a thing.
“You heard me.”
"I-" Afriel felt heat rise to her face, Zackarys gaze making her squrm. "Do you, want me to?" Her voice was nearly above a whisper.
Zackary hummed softly. “I don’t care what you do.” Though deep down he did want her to.
"Then why suggest it?" Afriel wrapped her wings around herself. She did consider it, but now She didn't know.
Zackary opened an eye. “My suggestion is true. I don’t mind if you join me.”
"If you touch me I will personally drown you." Afriel kept her wings around herself as she pulled her clothes back off and slipped into the water.
Zackary polietly sunk into the water as she got undressed, soaking his hair again. When she got into the lake again he submerged again, humming and flicking the hair out of his face.
Afriel, even in the water, still had her wings around herself. "Do you usually ask girls to join you?"
“Not every girl feels the need to annoy me. You said it yourself. You came here to annoy me, so here you are…”
"Uh-huh. Well I wanted to annoy you at camp." Afriel narrowed her eyes at him.
Zackary yawned and sat back into the lake, either making Afriel upset she couldn’t see through the water or glad (depending on how she felt about him wink wonk).
“My clothes aren’t dry yet and I want to enjoy the lake.”
(Oh gosh. xD)
Afriel sat up slightly, but for the most part still was under the water, "ssoo." She looked for something to talk about, "the lakes uh, nice."
Zackary hummed, relaxing and shutting his eyes. “Indeed they are.”
Afriel nodded her head and this time stayed quiet. Relaxing slightly and sinking so it was just her head once again.
Zackary dozed lightly as he floated there, slipping in his unconsciousness. He shook himself awake but continued dozing anyway.
"Didn't sleep well last night?" Afriel watched him carefully.
Zackary opened an eye. “No, lakes just make me feel sleepy. It’s just the way they are… so nice…”
"Well don't fall asleep," Afriel looked down at the water infrount of herself awkwardly as she spoke, "Because you'd be as good as dead if you did."
Zackary stretched out and yawned. “Right…. right. Dead. I don’t want to be that.”
Afriel sighed and tried to relax a little. "So, I'm guessing they don't have lakes in Hell?"
Zackary shook his head. “Nope… I think it’s too hot down there. I always prefer cold weather rather than warm.”
"And yet you hate the cold?" Afriel raised an eyebrow jokingly
Zackary huffed at her. “I like being warm when it comes to sleeping. Otherwise, I hate the heat.”
"Oh." Afriel tilted her head at him, remembering something. "Are you ever going back? You know to Hell?"
Zackary yawned, stretching. “No. They’ll just think I’m dead or something and replace me. It’ll be fine. I can stay here with you.”
Afriel felt a small smile light her lips. Joy lighting a fire inside of her. "Okay." Even if she did hate this forest, staying here with Zackary made her happy.
